Your guys played well. I had a bad feeling when the Canucks drew the Kings, Quick is extremely good, Brown is a good captain and Sutter still has it. Hopefully we can witness some more playoff series between these two teams in the future. Good luck
What the guy above said. Seriously it's awesome to see the sedins finally getting some respect for their toughness and play on the main board. As for the kings I am hoping for a WCF of kings vs Preds. No offense to you guys I just think this is nashvilles year, all the stars are aligning for them hope I am wrong though! Good luck against the blues
Congratulations to the Kings and their fans, well deserved. Your team showed up with their hard hats and lunch pails and didn't let up one bit. I don't think it's a stretch to say you have all the pieces to go far. Good luck to you, win one for Willie.
Great to see all the NUcks fans in here. It was a hard fought series and I'll admit I didn't have the best thoughts of Nucks fans at all when it started. I'm still not your biggest fan, but this series showed me you have more class than I gave you credit for. Hopefully we get to play again next year, it'll be great to have a rivalry.
First time in many years I don't hate the team that knocked out the Canucks. Good luck Kings, you played to win and did just that! I never wanted to let Mitchell go but now I have a reason to cheer him on. I actually like a lot of the players on your team and knew you were better than a normal 8th seed (just as I expected we were not playing as well as a first seeded team should). I can't stand Hitchcockey hockey so take it to the Blues!
I thought that the fans of Vancouver showed alot more class than their team did aside from Schneider. When we played the Nucks 2 season ago I don't remember nearly as much theatrics as in the first few games. I had heard about it from other fans and seen it occasionally but games 1 and 2 really got under my skin even in victory.
I know I hate it when I see my guys embellish and flop around but that was just embarassing stuff from Kesler, Lou, Bieksa, and the ringleader Vaineault. So for that, I was really happy to see those guys get packing.
But as far as the fans, certainly can relate and empathize with your pain.
Congratulations and thank you for sending the Canucks home early.
Well, my message is the same but my reasons are different. I'll try to come at this from a bit of a classier angle than the poster I'm quoting.....
Congratulations on your win. The Kings are absolutely full value for it. And thank you to the Kings fans on this board who remained, for the most part, civil, knowledgeable and on topic (without reverting to knee-jerk hyperbole as demonstrated... ahem... elsewhere).
Good luck to your team in the next round. They've earned alot of respect (apparently even from people who don't show alot of respect......)
