WEST (1) Vancouver vs. (8) Los Angeles - 6 games
(2) St. Louis vs. (7) San Jose - 6 games
(3) Phoenix vs. (6) Chicago - 5 games -- I wouldn't mind Yotes winning the series.
(4) Nashville vs. (5) Detroit - 7 games
EAST
(1) New York Rangers vs. (8) Ottawa - 6 games -- Fingers crossed!
(2) Boston vs. (7) Washington - 5 games -- I still think Boston will win it.
(3) Florida vs. (6) New Jersey - 7 games -- Still possible.
(4) Pittsburgh vs. (5) Philadelphia - 7 games
SCF: Vancouver vs. New Jersey - 6 games
Well, my SC winner prediction already hit a wall. (E: just realized I'm with the majority here ) NJ will probably go down next.
I suppose there's an error in Jarick's formula like squidz said. One win gives you now three points instead of 2. I have 6 points, but only 2 correct winners, no game bonus. The leader has 13 points when max. should be 4x3 (2 winner + 1 amount of games bonus)= 12.
Oh no! Did I just said our mod's made a mistake?
Didn't mean that, there must be some bug in operating system.. or they've changed the rules on the fly.. I mean they've got powers..
Hey you don't have to suck up to me, just Gopher. We're all Gophers.
Also if I knew the results, I'd probably not have called Pitts to win it all...
Well if I had known Fleury was going to be pulling a multiple game imitation of a sieve made of swiss cheese I would have picked differently for both my cup winner and that series.
People blame Luongo for the Nucks collapse at the end of the Cup Finals last year, but in reality he was just one failing part.
Even if you fixed Pittsburghs defense in that series, Fleury still could not stop a beachball, let alone a puck.
As much as I'd love to make my prediction right now I think I'll wait a day or two. I need to put a little more thought into my predictions after my failure to predict the 1st rd winners.
I think we're all gonna have relatively similar predictions. Most of us will probably have all of NY, PHI. STL, and NSH advancing.
The only reason why I picked LA over St. Louis is for that reason. Just to make things interesting. And as someone pointed out last year, I think it was bozak, the 2nd round is all about goaltending. Quick could steal the series.

I think Quick is a far better goalie than either of the goalies St. Louis has. He gives them the edge in what could just be one of the lowest scoring series of all time.

Also you cant wait a day. The puck drops on the second round TOMORROW NIGHT (well actually today since its 1am as I type this) on the Preds and Yotes.
