Last night, I screamed at the top of my lungs, jumped over couches, ran around the house screaming "WE DID IT," hugged everyone around me, and wept tears of joy. I couldn't sleep because I was just so happy and excited. And today, I definitely have a pep in my step! GO KINGS GO!!

"Good luck trying to solve Shneider".

"Can't you see an obvious trend developing"?

Two of my favorite quotes from Canuck fans on these boards.

Go kings go.

How in the world did Fox manage to keep his emotions under control after the goal? Everyone knows how emotional he gets when a big play happens. He was dead silent.

Paul Martin, Dan Hamhuis, two guys we were heavily interested in free agency two years ago.

Martin picked the Penguins over us, who lost in the first round this year.

Hamhuis picked the Canucks over us, who lost in the first round this year.

Willie Mitchell, a guy we signed two years ago, picked us over the Canucks.

See where I'm going with this?

Lombard's a GENIUS

He almost made the call! You can hear him go "sco..." right as Bob is saying "scores!"

I'm pretty sure he takes off his head set when he celebrates.

He deferred to Bob on the call, classy move.

1. He probably unplugged his mic or held down the cough button.

2. Out of respect for Bob to be able to make the call given its going to be replayed forever.

If anything Bob was subdued (hell Rick Peckham sounded more excited). Knowing how nervous Bob gets about screwing up a big call I'm guessing he had what he wanted to say for the ending written down. came off beautifully though. Wish we could hear more of him

You could hear claps or papers crinkling in the background as Nick Nickson made his call like he and Daryl were either clapping in some way or waving their hands with papers in them. Nick was really enthusiastic and he usually impartial but you could tell he was really excited for the team.

Thank you bandwagon fans:

especially those in Canada who seem to hate the Nucks as much as I do. Also, some US hockey fans of other teams also seem to hate the Nucks.

I don't usually hate other teams, I don't hate our rival the Ducks (I kinda hate the Sharks, LOL), but I do hate the Nucks who are the dirtiest team with a bunch of divers in the NHL imho,

Wow, almost half of the posts on this game thread seem to be from non-King fans who hate the Nucks, too, LOL!

Now onward to beating a tough Blues team, the @2 seed in the Western Conf., so the Kings will be underdogs again, starting on the road on perhaps Wed or Thurs, eh?

I been a Kings fan since '67 and the Stanley Cup drought will end this year or next...

Welcome aboard, any and all Kings bandwagon fans!

Go KINGS GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was an odd feeling last night. After Stoll scored I jumped up, shreiked like an 8 year old girl, hugged my buddy and jumped around for a few seconds.

Then I sat back down on the couch and they began showing the celebration, the smiles ear to ear, the hoots and hollers of the Kings players, and the replay of the goal. It was weird, I just started laughing hysterically for about 2 minutes. The laughter brought out a few tears as well.

I seriously have no idea how I would react to further playoff success. I remember 2001 as if it were yesterday but then it just seemed like there was no chance in hell the Kings were going to eliminate Ray Bourqe and the Avs.

This year?...... I just don't get that feeling that there is a better team than the Kings. I might be wrong but the psychological factor of this win against the presidents trophy winner gives me a REAL good feeling.

Regardless, what a great day to be a Kings fan.

I try to explain this stuff to people that don't understand it. When you're with a team for as long as most of us have been with the Kings you start to feel like you have a son or a dad or someone special to you on the team. Sometimes they all feel like they could be my sons. The kind of pride a parent feels when their kid does something special.

it's hard to explain to people that just don't get it.

The last time I mentioned this...it got stricken from the boards...but I had inside information on the permit situation in Anaheim that day... An ex-girlfriend was working in the office that was handing out permits and there was a little problem with the two parade routes... The Ucks had to take backstage to a gay rights march being held that same day (using almost the entire route proposed by the Ucks)...because they had beat them to the permit office (by about 45 minutes I believe she said)...

I don't see any good reason why they couldn't just combine the two parades.

I don't but they've been playing it on satellite radio all morning. He says emphatically "And Stoll wins the series for the Kings". Then he recaps the play followed by "and I'll see you in St. Louis". It was pretty cool.
