It's so funny, after our bench clears, everyone tries to give Stolly the congratulatory glove facewash...some on the helmet, some on the visor, some right in his GRILLE. Then Quick makes it all the way down, still holding his stick way up in the air and trying to barrel through the entire team...and give him a facewash with that massive goalie glove of his...

He might take the whole head off

Someone did post You Tube videos of all 4 calls of the Stoll OT goal. That would be:

1) Bob and Jim
2) Nick and Daryl (with their sound synched to the video)
3) MSNBC broadcast
4) Canucks broadcast

It's around here somewhere. Just look for the post with 4 videos in it.

Series winning goal call by all 3 telecasts as well as Nick on the radio:

NBC - Rick Peckham and Daryl Reaugh:

FSN - Bob and Jim:

CBC - Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson:

Nick Nickson (2:00 in to this clip):

NHL : LA 2, VAN 1 (OT)

Couple folks have asked for these, so here they are again.

See where I'm going with this?

Lombard's a GENIUS
I'd take Hamhuis on this team still.

That said, I'm glad DL has come across as a penny pincher in UFA. Sure, it would be great to have a guy like Gaborik right now, but almost all players we were linked to in UFA either have flopped (Drury) or are signed for far to long (Hossa, Kovalchuk). We have a team that is void of players signed for a term that goes way past their prime, have no NTC/NMC's and are very cap flexible. When Matt Greene or Drew Doughty is arguably your worst contract (in terms of bang for the buck) heading into next year, that is something of envy for the rest of the league.

lol Seeing Quick jumping up and down in that pile is hilarious.

And they were the loudest people in that building when Stoll scored.

It's funny, even watching the replay of the goal now I catch myself asking "why didn't he pass it to King? He was WIDE open!" ha ha

So excited for the boys! Can't believe it's been this long since we made it past the first round. We have been through a lot of rough seasons to get to this point!

Drew still sounds like a drunk, cackling chimpanzee when he celebrates

Even though Schnieder was playing pretty deep, Kings would have had a lot of net to shoot at.

He may even had the time to deke once and shoot to the left.

What a game last night was. I haven't stopped smiling since. It has been a long, long, long time since we've had this type of feeling as Kings fans. I'll admit, I was pretty nervous going into the series as I didn't like how we matched up against Vancouver. But the Kings showed they have heart, tenacity and perseverance running through their veins.

About half way through the game, I was just waiting for the Canucks to bag another goal, as they were outplaying the Kings 2 of every 3 shifts. But that stop by Quick on D. Sedin was the turning point of the game. Last year, Quick doesn't make that save. And last year, the Kings don't show the type of inner strength to come back when down late in a game. You could see the Canucks were trying to turn the game into a track meet and the Kings weren't buying it. Sutter kept throwing the 3rd and 4th lines on the ice, and they kept throwing the body and mucking it up in the neutral zone.

As great as it is to have upgraded the Kings talent with guys like Carter and Richards, I was happy as hell to see Stoll and Richardson get rewarded for their hard play. Both guys have dealt with a ton of individual adversity this year, but it feels great to see them pick up the clutch goals in the most meaningful game I have watched in 10 years.

A lot has changed since 2001, and this Kings team is far better than the 2001 squad was. This may have been an upset when you look at the seedings, but the Kings squarely outplayed the Canucks, and they did it by playing the type of hockey they've been selling us on. Great to see the plan and process for building this franchise pay off this year. Can't wait to see us skate against the Blues.

Still waiting on Cruels gif of the Kings bench celebrating and clearing the bench as Stoll scores Oh, and Hexy and DL celebrating too.

Clips start at 2:05 on cbc version of the goal.

I haven't gotten a single thing done today. I got up real early and watched the game this morning and have been on a high ever since. All I do is read Kings news, watch the highlights, post game analysis from TSN, CBC, Fox etc, read blogs, listen to podcasts and read HF and LGK

I can't stop. After I watched the game I read through the entire GDT here on HF and have been reading the playoff board, the canucks board, the blues board... even other teams' boards to see what they had to say about the Kings advancing.

I gotta be mentally ill or something but right now I'm just loving it so much I don't want it to end.
