Same powerplay problems as the Rangers have had most of the season.. if they manage to establish the powerplay in the opponents zone (and thats a big if with the dump and chase thing they insist on doing..), we just end up having 5 men practically standing COMPLETELY still..hardly moving at all, and passing between them.. its really sad to watch

Agreed. We had chances. It's not like there's no hope.

Torts starts out with decent looking lines, then puts the players names in a hat shakes it....coming up with "4th line on the powerplay".

Gimme a break. This is garbage. If they dont come out in the 2nd with a thunderous roar and score some goals FAST, they're done.

It could be effing Wade Flaherty or Tommy Salo in the other net, this team lacks killer instinct. They got away with it during the regular season, now where it counts, massive fail.

Stay the course. What a joke that is.
We can only hope Christian Thomas can become that guy. Not holding my breath though

Not as baffling as the Richards/Del Zotto Drop Pass maneuver.

Just hilarious how the next round could possibly be Florida-Ottawa (two worst teams in the top 8 coming in)

Making Anderson look like Patrick Roy

John Mitchell had more ice than hagelin and dubi that period. This guy had 12 points all year. PP is atrocious. I'm putting this one on torts

We all know how this is going to play out. The Sens win it with a shutout, then they go on to play the next team in the playoffs and get hosed. Anderson is a good goalie but we aren't testing him AT ALL. He is making basic saves from 30 feet out without screens.

Remember all the stat geeks telling us that, statistically the Rangers were in great shape because they scored more than 3 goals more often than blah blah blah blah blah. The writing was on the wall at the deadline. Nothing was done. Oh well. Just another chapter in the embarrassing history of the NY Rangers.
