Things I took from this period:

-The refs hate Rupp

-Neil is a *****

-Our PP sucks

-Still waiting for a faceoff win

-Anderson is lucky as ****

If the Rangers get eliminated, I'm hoping Boston beats Washington for this very reason. If there's one team the Sens cannot handle, it's the Bruins.

Stay the course. What a joke that is.
Yep. We had out shot. Everyone knew we had scoring issues and that it would be a problem in the playoffs. EVERYONE knew it. And who do we get at the deadline? John ****ing Scott. Who hasn't played a shift yet. It's a ****ing joke.

this is desperation!? They got nothing. Embarrassed and angry. Our 4 game rookie is the best player out there.

Continuing what Moosehead said in the other thread, when people wanted more scoring during the trade deadline, like 75% of the people on this board were saying, why, we're #1 in the east. Regular season=/=Playoffs.

Anderson has made some good saves. But really its the Rangers lack of conviction and scoring touch that has made him look well. No screens. No rebound shots. Missed nets. Mostly ala regular season. only here its a very mini season each round. So the norm dont apply. Those things cost you. And so far they have.

So true I was thinking that earlier. They shut us out and proceed to get railed with no lube in round 2, leaving us to wonder how the **** we couldn't score. Its so obvious....

Looking on the bright side: Kreider looks really good today.

On the realistic side:

We ****ing suck. We better be inquiring about Parise/Ryan. Dubi better get his ass shipped the **** out of NY.

At the deadline, I wasnt saying "we're fine, we're in 1st". What I was saying, is that "there is no difference maker available", and "the price is WAY too high for complimentary pieces".

Only one period in. 2 more to go.

I like some of the chances we are getting on net. Kreider looks good.

We can do this.

The transformation has finished. Torts has turned into Tom Renney. It's astonishing.
