Why play Silverberg when Stone setup Spezza for the winning goal last game. Stash might have cost us the series with that move

Like I said on the Stanley Cup forum, Tim Peel can take that game puck and shove it straight up his ass.

I disagree, the Rangers are going back home with the momentum in this series, the time to win this series was tonight, I think the Rangers pretty much have it in the bag thanks to these ****tard refs.

Should have gone with Stone, he's more adjusted to North American ice.

If you think the refs are not to blame tonight, then tell me why Alfie was so mad on the bench? If Alfie thinks the refs were bad they were bad, plain and simple.

i don't know. you can't blame the refs. yeah, some of the calls were kind of stupid but in the end the sens didn't play well enough.

although i have to be honest. when i saw tim peel's name at the beginning of the game i said 'uh oh'.

Silfv should play next game... more on the PP. A few days of practice with the team will help him out immensely. Pressure is all on the Rangers, they are the first place team... it is their home ice.

You guys gotta check the Lundqvist post game he's still sour.

"It's scary, someone obviously wants them back in the game. It's scary, an obvious goalie interference and a kick, it's scary".

Excellent opening 10 minutes, then a catastrophic 50 minutes. Felt like the compete level was low, alfie looked very mortal. So many bad passes, sens getting hemmed in their own end, and just losing puck battles everywhere.

But yeah after that first goal it started slipping away and I felt more and more like this was not a game we deserved to win. No desperation, no emotion, no drive.

I agree with Grapes, I hate Cherry but he's right, why would u insert a guy like Silfverberg who has never played on NHL ICE in the playoffs, in a clinching game!...that's called being dumb...i'm sorry I know I'll get bashed but I dont care...Stone was very good and he got the bench over a Jakob who looked like a deer in headlights...SEL is NOT the NHL

Most aggravating game I've watched in a long long time.

The wheels game off after Michalek took his stupid penalty to negate the PP. We never recovered from that. The momentum that we'd built up since the Turris goal was sucked out of the team with that. It'll be tough to get that back.

I think they let up after the first goal and it bit them hard. All we need to win game 7 is to score first and keep playing to the final whistle.

This.

Blaming the refs is for losers. All the Sens need to do is keep their composure and step up their game. It's an uphill battle, but we can still win this series.

The refs were pretty awful tonight, on both sides. First they call nothing, then they call everything. Sometimes I think the "new" NHL with all of the diving and *****ing about the refs is ruining this game.

B's fan coming peace.

You guys got robbed on the Foligno call. Should have been matching if anything at all. Game changing call the ref should have never made.

Neil may smoke a lot of people, but he does it under the rules. Nice for them to catch the "interference" on Foligno, but not the blindside late hit on Neil by Delzotto.

Now you know why we hate NY.

Get em in game 7.

Stone was just as unproven. And the organization felt Silfverberg was more ready. I have no problem with the move, and hope to see Silfverberg back in the lineup next game.

Agree agree agree.

I was very happy with the effort in the first, but then the wheels fell off somewhere during that first intermission. The team came out completely flat, took some bad calls and got some bad calls and the game was quickly out of hand. Personally, I would've called a time out after the goal on the 5-3, but that's just me. The third period was pretty fine as well.

This team could've won tonight. I'm not at all happy that we have to go back into MSG for a game 7. We need a solid effort for three periods. We got it in three other games this series, but we didn't get it tonight.

This team can beat Lundqvist. Keep putting pucks on net and be willing to battle for room in front. Play smart hockey. The Senators can win this series, but we need to be better than we were tonight.

Was just about to say that, he may not have the top-end skill that Stone and Silf have, but he was fairly consistent in his few games and didn't do anything that stood out in a bad way.

Those ******** calls that gave them the goals were devastating.
When your team becomes that unraveled, call a timeout. Everyone was passing too hard, turning over, screwing up....was brutal. When guys loose their cool, they grip the sticks too tight and make mistakes.
