That's alright... everyone needs a cathartic moment, this is ours I guess.

We can win game 7 -- I believe in Ottawa. Simply took on too much pressure tonight.

Also, it wasn't Silf's fault, last game was Stone's first too

I don't see how anyone could think the NHL would rather see Ottawa win over the biggest market in the league

I ain't even mad.

I agree with this. There were some BS calls tonight.. But when it comes down to it, we were undisciplined and it hurt us. We took some stupid (LEGIT) penalties in the second. Taking penalties in the other teams zone behind their net is just needless. There is no defensive desperation there. Undisciplined penalties by michalek, smith and foligno killed us tonight. Instead of protecting the lead and playing solid hockey we took penalty after penalty.

Spezza (other than that last play in the 3rd) hung onto the puck way too much and any time it did come off his stick it was to a rags stick. He came up with some big goals last night and tonight, but all in all he has yet to establish himself as a leader and a full time gamebreaker this series.

We can take on the Rangers. We've outplayed them since game 3. We would have won this one tonight if it wasn't for the refs gift wrapping them the game.

A lot of missed/not made calls. The clearing over the boards with NO other player around would have given us a nice 5 on 3. It didnt deflect off anything!
Hard to fault our play when for a 10-15 minute period in the second we were given PP but then had it taken away in 20 seconds, and then turn around and hand out a couple of weak calls the way of the dirty Rags. That little push from Silverberg was no more or less than what Cowen took just a few plays before. There was, again, some questionable calls. Funny how it always happens during a Tim Peel reffed game.?????????

I'm weirdly calm about this. I know everyone thinks that this is the game we needed to win because it'll be tough to do it at MSG but I think they can do it. I'm still not scared of the Rangers. And even if they don't, they made a seven game series out of it, I'm not worried about the future of this team.

Random thoughts:

MacLean really hates timeouts, doesn't he?

The Rangers stepped up their game but if the Sens hadn't imploded in the second period, this game would probably have a different result. You would think that after a whole season of getting ****ed sideways, they would handle this **** with a little more composure. The Sens lost to themselves.

And the less said about Spezza, the better. He needs a big game on Thursday.

Tim Peel tried to save his life by telling the crowd it was a good goal.

Nice try Tim.

Stop blaming the refs, it wasn't all them...Ottawa looked cocky, 1-0 lead and you stop playing expecting the Rangers to just fold?...if Sens lose in Game 7, its there own doing....they didn't move their feet

And Chris Neil being an idiot?

He didn't lose the game. I don't think he's quite ready for the playoffs yet. Stone should have played.
