Horrible defense by Chicago. Everyone standing still in front of the net.

4-0 Yotes.

Man, I now wish we'd gotten Chicago. HORRID defense.

You do realize the Yotes defense looked awful tonight too right? Honestly, either matchup (at least in my opinion) should favor us. Knock on serious wood there.

We have rinne and more depth, I am feeling good about my chances.

Smith is as hot as Rinne right now.

Erat-Fish-SK better get their act together!

And we need Radu to become a star.

It's easy to say now, but I am convinced Chicago would have been the easier matchup. Having said that, we should be able to beat Phoenix- no reason to fear them

Well barring a miracle, we're playing PHX. Guess we'll see who blinks first: Rinne or Smith.

Oooh, so much mad.

Anyway, Nashville bros, I just wanted to say, I'm glad that two teams that Balsillie has tried to screw with are now playing each other in the playoffs, in their original cities, in front of loud "non-traditional" crowds. LOVE IT. Here's to a good series!

I admit I can't hate on Phoenix, yet that is.

Phoenix it is. The worst part is gonna be the start times. But as long as we atleast split in Phoenix to start off, I'll be happy.

Well, the final barrier to me getting behind the Preds 100% is playing golf from here on out.

The bitter Thrasher fan in me still would get much pleasure watching Bettman explain why the Stanley Cup Champion is moving to Quebec. But that's just another fantasy like winning the lottery, living in Perdido key, and owning a minor league hockey team in Orange Beach called the Bushwackers.

Go Preds.

The right goalie coach in the right system does wonders. He's playing like the guy Tampa expected to get when they traded with Dallas.

That's my point... he is a product of the system. Not that he is actually all that good to begin with.

The key to this series will be taking their Smith's eyes out. Getting puck through traffic and using our depth to our advantage.

He is good ... Tampa just sucked in their own end. He's been standing on his head all season, just this year there are guys who can collect most of the rebounds he does leave. No goalie can do it all on their own. Not even Peks.

Exactly the same thing many people say about Rinne.

Then they obviously don't watch games that Rinne plays in. Plus, the difference here: Rinne has never had 5 seasons where he lost a starting job because of his awful play.

Smith... has

Smith is a legit good goalie. He's had some rough seasons here and there mostly due to injury, but he was a highly touted goalie coming up through Dallas. Plus, it's Tampa. They don't know what defense is. He's also the best puck handler in the NHL.

But all that matters is how is he playing right now, which is fantastic. There is definitely reasons to fear him.
