Best idea right here...

I don't like the "Alfie Sucks!" chant.. that's just no-class whatsoever. He's a good dude and hasn't done anything disrespectful to us this series so idk I think that makes us as a fan-base look like ****** bags.

im going thursday, I definitly want to do a 5,4,3,2,1 chant like they do-- Just to show them we can be loud too..

Their building was SO loud on tv you could hear it crazy, the garden sounded dead the past 2 games. This is home advantage we fought so hard for all season, this is NYC, the mecca, the city that never sleeps, the best place in the world in the world's most famous arena; if we don't do it justice here in a potential last game of the season it would be a shame

No. Like I said before. They count down to 11 "Alfie". We have our own legendary 11. Mark Messier, the man that bought this franchise around and brought us this Stanley Cup. Could you imagine? I'd even make copies for all the sections even though I won't be there haha

"5...4...3...2...1...MESSIER, MESSIER, MESSIER!"

Haha. I like it. But I think too many people will still say "Potvin" and the chant will sound garbled.

How about 1927?

Just make sure it gets to the point where the fans are singing goodbye to the Sens with a couple minutes left in the 3rd.

The difference in home crowds has been amazing. Sens fans are always on getting the chants going, I'd love to see the Garden rocking with a countdown from 11 Messier. - Don't forget a Neil sucks too.

Make it happen guys!

the 11 thing looks bad, then it looks like we are just copycats. Thats Ottawas thing , they came up with it. Lets not look like hacks here, something original.

Why not steal this one from Frankfurt? It's so easy even American hockey fans should be able to do it.

Just switch out "Hey Eintracht Frankfurt" to "New York Rangers", the melody should be well known to a bunch of people and it's pretty catchy.

lol, ya, good luck getting a Rangers fan to pull that off. i think Lets go Rangers is the best, tried and true, anything else new on such short notice is just going to turn out bad and look good on Ottawa because they do have their sh@t together with the chants.

Potvin sucks needs to be permanently replaced with plain old cheering or a "Let's go Rangers" chant.

Something that's been going around on Twitter and Facebook: count down from 2:22 to 2:00 of each period and chant "Neil's an ass hole"

That would be awesome. I would love to see all 18,000 rangers supporters all jumping up and down in unison.

While I certainly respect the passion that ottawa supporters have, we need to be creative in our chants and not just copy what the ottawa fans did well. I have even saying this for years that we rangers supporters need to be more organized in our approach to being fans. From this will come better and more organized chants. Look to Glasgow Rangers fans for inspiration maybe?

I would love that. Who's bringing the drum?

Honestly, fans are too pansy to do something like that. They say it's "too soccer." Screw that, that's how you really go crazy and have real home ice. We'd be different than anyone in the league.

To The Next level

the Rangers have unfrozen their twitter accounts and are asking the fans to rock MSG on Thursday

I didn't have much faith going in to last nights game, but on the commute home the DJ said that yesterday was the day the Ramones debuted their self titled album, and then "Hey Ho Lets go" started cranking. I knew we were going to win after that
