Nash to CHI

Nash

:Blue Jackets (dont know how to make the CBJ logo)

Patrick Sharp
2012 1st
Morin

Hawks need a roster shakeup and have the cap space to accomodate Nash and his behemoth salary.

Columbus gets that cancer that is Rick Nash out of CBus and they get Sharp who can give you similar production with a smaller cap hit, 2012 1st gives CBJ 2 picks in the top 20, and Morin is also good winger prospect.

Sharp puts up similar numbers, leading me to question why ChiCity with trade him along with the other pieces for Nash.

I wouldn't trade Sharp straight up for Nash

Sharp has better contract , Is more consistant offenisvely , Is versatile (Can play LW , C , RW) and is much better defensively

Regardless of Sharp/Nash worth.

Any trade for Nash in the division is unlikely to happen.

I don't see the value for Chicago, but I think Columbus would expect more included, right or wrong.

As a fan of both teams, it doesn't make sense for either team.

Chicago won't add to get back the same type of player signed to a much worse contract.

Columbus would need to add to make a deal like this work.
