NYR will lay an egg tomorrow night. Game 2 was a major factor in how this series turned in Ottawa's favor. They were not afraid to get their noses dirty when it mattered most. Carkner, Neil & Konopka were key figures that showed up when guys like Dubi, Stepan, Artie, Mitchell & Gabby came up soft. NYR will fold like a cheap suit. MDZ kicking the puck in his own net spelled the end for NYR. Losing Hagelin for 3 games was a big blow for the effectiveness of the 1st line for 5 on 5 play.

I have a very strong internal feeling the Rangers go to Ottawa and take care of business. I had a strong feeling that we'd be disappointed at MSG and it turned out correct.

We're bringing this game back to MSG, one game at a time, just have to play physical and get back on track. Hagelin coming back is huge.

I think if anyone wins us the game it's Richie and Hags. Working together even. Richards' goals this season were probably the most pump-me-up goals this team has scored. I love that dude.

Doubt it. Steps been in a terrible rut.

Order of people I expect to step up:

Richards
Callahan
Gaborik
Dubinsky
Del Zotto
Anisimov
Kreider

Call me crazy, Kreider's had 3 golden goal opportunities in each of his games as a Ranger. For whatever reason they reduced his time and it worked against us. With more minutes, as it seems he will get, he'll have more chances. I'm not saying its likely he'll score, but he's had a 1 v 1 against the goalie in each of our games, if that trend continues, hopefully he'll net one in. As for the other guys, Richie is reunited with Gabby and Haggy. Cally has offensive pressure taken off of him which is where he thrives. The other guys have the ability and just haven't shown so who knows.

I can see Richards stepping it up, expecting Kreider to be solid too. He had a good game yesterday.

EDIT: I forgot Hagelin. He'll be coming back with something to prove I'm sure.
I got two of the three scorers

I have to give it to Richards. If it wasn't for that awesome shuffle to Derek for the tap in, to finally beat Anderson, we might not have scored another goal this year. Then goes and scores to take the lead.

This is why we got him. He's a playoff MVP.

This performance by him was uncanny with its timing. Crazy how good he is when he has to be. Big props to Stepan and Lundqvist as well. I'm handing Game 6 hero status to Richards though. Tons of pressure and came through against a stifling hot goalie in an elimination game.

No doubt Step has a bright future, along with our 2 rookie sensations, but it was Richards who got them going tonight to keep our run alive. 13 and counting! Oh baby!

Now all we need is a Gabby hat trick to end this series. He is overdue to breakout with a great performance. They say your best players need to be your best players. Watch Gabby Thursday.

A MUST WATCH! BELIEVE!
Thanks for posting this. Seeing the celebration brings chills and tears. My dad passed away from cancer the next day but even though he was in a coma in palliative care at home I was able to whisper in his ear that the Rangers had won the Cup. I like to believe he knew.

Kind of hard to watch Gabby when he's been completely invisible the last two years in the playoffs. A hat trick in game #7? Welcome to fantasy island!

I'm going to go with Hagelin scoring the game winner in OT.

Please, no OT... hagelin is very welcome to score the GWG in regulation however. Very good pick with Hagelin. That guy has oodles of energy bottled up from not playing.
