I hugged at least 7 people, started the Travis Zajac chant as he was interviewed, on the wya out started numerous chants, then missed my ****ing train. What an amazing night.

More on Marty though he made the big save on Samuelsson, and whethered the storm in OT right before our winning goal was set up. We can almost always count on Marty I think to make the big saves on the many odd man rushes, and breakaways we give up. It's usually less intense ones we have to worry about. I still don't like the fact Marty gets more hell from so called fans than John Maclean got in December of 10 when Lou refused to get rid of him after that Montreal game where he was caught talking to Larry Robinson what his lips appeared to be saying the fans were all effing selfish for booing them on the 5 on 3 PP. That guy is selfish for taking a paycheck for that train wreck job he pulled. Could have found someone sentenced to community service to do a better job.

Marty didn't give us a clunker like late in game 7 of 09 though so we were good tonight.

Now I know why Clemmensen plays good against us. He really doesn't, but you see the shot count. Most of the shots were the same quality of the 30 we put on Theodore Saturday night in game 5 for his shutout. The lowest quality being that one he actually gave up on Bernier's goal. Also Sykora's post hit hurt for a while.

Point blank at his pad, firing it right into his glove, point blank right to the front of him. All this does is boost the goaltenders save percentage. I give Clemmensen credit on some of them, but Kovalchuk could have played goalie, and stopped many of those shots. The Scott Clemmensen bobble head could have stopped many of those shots.

I sat in the suite right next to Vanderbeek

after Zajac scored the winning goal there was a pile on of people in the suite lmao so much fun

its cool to see that Mr Vanderbeek is so into the games and was jumped on by his family and friends as well seems like a down to earth guy

i threw my devils towel on chico's head in overtime by accident he seemed a little annoyed

Zajac is our clutch player. The fans really died down after a while when the Panthers tied it, but came back to life in the 3rd.

I thought we played well defensively in the 3rd while still taking many of those routine save shots.

There was one point though where Florida looked much better than us, and the sad fact was Florida didn't even look that good or scary when they were looking a lot better than us.

While the Bernier goal was a bad one I still think this 4th line is great. In our worst games of this series our 4th line has been our best line. No crash line, but this is a good Turner Stevenson, Sergei Nemchinov type 4th line.

See how good it is without the goons? If we had this ***** inducing 4th line all season we may have had 15 more goals this season maybe 20! 4th line has scored a goal in 4 of the 6 games!

Watch out you might knock his rug off!

I have a feeling next season will be a ''Will Zajac re sign this Summer? Can we keep him?'' especially if Parise is back.

Zajac was never a point per game guy, but he's one of those point per game guys in the playoffs that you least expect!

See, as much as I hate refs, I don't mind that. Does it suck to have a lot of no-calls, sure. But as long as things aren't getting egregious and way out of hand (and unsafe), I'm cool with calling nothing. My biggest issue in any game, regardless of whether they're calling everything or nothing, is that its consistent both ways. If they're going to call nothing all night, fine. But then don't start calling them late in the game for no reason.

Kovy trip should have been called right before goal 2 by the Panthers.

Andy Greene trip in OT should have been called.

We got a freebie in return as compensation for the no call in the 2nd.

The refs didn't call a damn thing all night. Thankfully, this played to our advantage.

The Devils have been advertising that every game will get MSG+ coverage so we'll see.

As for the no-calls, don't mind them one bit. As long as the refs are not calling penalties for both teams, let them play dirty. We got away with a lot. Panthers got away with just as much. I'd rather have that then power plays everywhere.

I expect a similarly officiating game for all upcoming game 7s.

Devils schedule on their website says the game will be covered by TSN and MSG+ (HD).

These refs were pretty good. None of the penalties were BS, and each team got screwed out of blatant penalties which was cancelled out so no problem.

I love how Drew has literally been everywhere in the Gif thread.

It really is about time we got that no elimination game won at the Rock crap off our backs. That building really needed that, and I hope it carries over. Know some aren't that confident going into Thursday, but you have to think that a win like that, more then winning any other way has to deflate them a bit and lift us more. Have to believe!!!
