Was listening to McCown on the fan 590 yesterday. Eugene Melnyk was on talking Sens and near the end of the conversation he was asked about St. Mikes. Eugene said there is nothing to announce now but he is expecting to sell ownership of the St. Michaels Majors during the summer. Wonder what this means for junior hockey in Mississauga?

This same question was posted up in the Mississauga thread. St. Michael's Majors are sold already, they are just working on the finishing touches of the agreement. Nothing will change in Mississauga, it will just be a change of ownership. Mississauga still has a lease commitment to Hershey Centre that doesn't expire anytime soon. They won't move the team because it would be way too expensive and the new owner lives in the area.
