He plays hungry for the puck. Good skater, good shot, good size. He looks like a scorer when he is on the ice. Not sure how legit of a prospect he is, but he deserves a contract. Undrafted...but so was Dan Girardi.
And here's a good column from the Hartford Courant's Jeff Jacobs on Hrivik.

If Hrivik will take an AHL deal, which I suspect he will, then that's the way to go with him. Kinda depends on how he performs the rest of the postseason though--if you he keeps scoring, there may be other teams willing to give him an ELC.
“You can see he’s a little different element than some of the younger kids that we’ve brought in, where he’s got a little bit more size, he’s a little bit more punishing as far as physical play,” said Gernander.
“I’m sure we’ll see some of his offense as we go along as well.”
Miller knows his game, and he plans to keep things simple and stick with what has made him successful in his career. That means putting points on the board, while not sacrificing defensive integrity at the other end of the ice.
“I just want to make sure to stay in the lineup and be an offensive factor, and be responsible defensively too,” said Miller.
“I’m just going to try and do my best and fit it in wherever they need me and do the best that I can at that spot.”
