Even when Ovie isn't scoring, he's wearing down the D. No one can accuse him of floating for that reason. He still has a purpose in a 7 game series even if he isn't getting hat tricks.

And why is Aucoin still on PP1?!
I could not care less about those things right now.

Talk to me in the morning about it.

Not that I'm complaining about it, but if that was on us you'd probably have thrown the greatest tirade in hf history

Did you hear Ward how happy he was? He mentioned feeling bad about maybe losing the respect of his fellow players.

Now Knuble did start it all and gets big marks in my book. Thank you Knuble.

As a Habs fan who had to watch the Bruins win three Game 7's (including the one against us) me and my fan base thanks you for eliminating the Bruins tonight. It means a lot!

Congrats caps. I was pretty impartial on the series and the game but I couldn't help cheer you cause of the refs attempted hose job.

Congrats guys, incredible series! Holtby is a beast!

Nice to see an ex-Flyer getting the primary assist to knock the Bruins out

Congrats to the Caps and their fans. This is exactly why I was so pissed off that Ottawa fell out of the 7th spot.

I'm still in shock. I was pouring some coffee during the OT intermission just thinking, "Please don't be 1987 all over again". I know it is just round one, but this sure feels good. Of all the playoff series in the past we've had, I can't hate the Bruins as opponents. I thought this was a great series, but I can't take these OTs . I don't know what is more shocking, winning in Game 7 in OT or Joel Ward getting the goal, lol.

The same way we should be looking at it now. As a serious issue moving forward so long as Dale is the coach.

Am I the only one who laughed maniacally when realizing it was Ward who scored?

Well, that didn't suck.

So, go Sens and Devils tomorrow, right? Gotta think we'd rather see the Devs than Rags or Flyers.

Exactly, Sid or Geno couldn't do any better against Chara and Seidenberg in a 7 game so i take my hat off to Ovi. Thanks for a great series.

Congrats caps fans

I like the irony of washington beating thomas and potentially ending his tenure with the bruins. Does utah have a hockey team?
