Even if he is ready to come back in Stanley Cup (god please, let us get there), would you really want him back, and mess up all the lines??

I'd just rest him for rest of season and get him ready for the fall.

stick him on the 4th line, and give him PP mins.

Depends on the team. MZA really has no value to the Rangers against tougher teams like the Flyers, Blues, NSH, etc. But I could see him having a role in more open games.

Rupp hasn't helped much either when things get tough. I'd be all for putting MZA in to help the PP.

So MZA could come back during 3rd round or Stanley Cup round if we get there?

He may be ready, but there's not place in the lineup for him right now.

Get him healthy and have him available as circumstances dictate. He may come in handy at some point.

interesting. He would be a nice weapon for the PP and 4th line since Torts doesnt use it much anyway. IF Boyle is out for the next round or playoffs he will come in handy

Try Zuccs on line 3 and on the PP...

They could use the skill over a player as useless as Mitchell

Stick him on the 4th line and the PP. He was such a weapon for us in the short time before he got hurt. It's not like we're scoring a lot of goals, taking out Mitchell for him makes sense (although Torts loves Mitchell).

Link?

A lot can happen. If the team is down a couple games, he might add som spark. There could be injuries, suspensions and slumps.
If hes back in time, I think he could go straight in the lineup.

Yeah, but we are darn lucky if it stays like that.

Kreider got in when Hagelin was suspended, Zucc probably have to wait for a opertunity like that too. But it would certainly help to have him in the mix. He was one of our better forwards when he went down -- it certainly great to have a player like that on the depth charts.

Maybe...tough to say...it always seems like things like that figure themselves out with injuries that always occur.

Anything to get Mitchell back to the press box. He's the ice hockey equivalent of wallpaper.

he's a 4th liner. i cant BELIEVE the amount of hate an insignificant player is getting.

It's not like its Brian Boyle playing 14 minutes and not doing jack squat during the regular season. This guy is playing like 3-6 mins a night and for the most part is doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing....not screwing up. when Boyle comes in, Mitchell comes out, but its not like Mitchell has playing himself out of a roster spot, there are just better options available.
