But are you prepared for when they flash you their nice smiles?

Congrats on the job, though.

Thanks PE. It'll be weird working at the "other" Carolina, but I think I can get used to it. I will miss one aspect of my current job - the firm I was at was the firm that handled workers' comp cases for NHLPA, PHPA, and NFLPA players. It was kind of cool to interact with pro athletes in that regard!

Oh, you mean the real Carolina, not the SCAR of the Carolinas? (USC is Southern California, Carolina is UNC...so that leaves SCAR for that school)

What made you end up switching jobs? The one you had before sounds pretty legit.

To be honest, it came down to money. I'll get nearly 10K more at UNC than here and being an internal UNC candidate for anything that comes up at UNC that might use my undergrad/grad degrees would be a plus as well. Better pay, better benefits, and better options.

Will be fun to see Bayern play at home. I've always liked them.

SI's mock draft I just got in the mail today says the Panthers *WILL* draft DT Fletcher Cox, from *THE* Mississippi State University in both their "Will Draft" AND "Should Draft" sections.

Discuss.

I'd be fine with either him or Brockers for the Panthers needs. Absolute last one you want from that group of first round DTs is Poe. Huge if but IF Claiborne is still on the board he'd be my pick.

Find a way to pick up a late 2nd or hope he's there in the 3rd, but DE/OLB Bruce Irvin would be an absolute beastly pickup to go with Cox/Brockers. Panthers would instantly rebuild their pass rushing defense nicely with those two picks. Bruce is a sack machine, ran a 4.5 at the combine, and had the fastest 3 cone drill time at the combine.

Asked about rivalry with N.C. State, and making that game a priority, Larry says "It's 184 days from today." And then big cheers.
Looks like UNC's taking the State game pretty seriously this year. Should be fun to watch.

Too bad the real USC in South Carolina was a chartered university before California was even a state. I'll give you UNC as "Carolina". I never really particularly cared for South Carolina being called "Carolina" because people assume it's North Carolina, and I hate having to explain that some people mean South Carolina when they say "Carolina"

Southern Cal can suck it though.

As for Chelsea-Bayern CL final, go Bayern. I can't stand Chelsea.

That's awesome that you're able to get pretty much everything better at UNC than your previous job. Best of luck to you in the new endeavor.

So they're going to take losing again this year more seriously than years prior?

I was referring to present day, not the past. Also, a certain Mr. Barkley seems to guarantee that Southern Cal will not "Suck it" for at least this year.

I spotted this yesterday online somewhere, and was 100% creeped out by it. Rich Kelley looked like he should have been at home fixing his motorcycle, or stalking a playground.

Full length trou or GTFO, or at least I think that's what Stockton's motto about hot tubs was.

Chelsea would have gone through on away goals anyway, Torres goal just the final nail.

The being said I'm sad John Terry didn't save his red card shenanigans for the final, I'd like to LOL at him costing Chelsea the UCL trophy again.

I'm good with this. It sure beats the hell out of the Charlotte columnists writing this morning that Coples being the pick is almost a sure thing, which I hope is an elaborate joke or false information. UNC fans even left several comments on how that is a terrible idea.

I still think something is going to happen ahead of via trade or surprise pick and Cox won't be there at 9. That is when the Panthers will provide us the first facepalm moment of the draft by selecting Coples or someone equally undeserving for the #9 pick.

NFL.com plus a few other mock draft sites now have my Jaguars taking Cox at #7. Should be a fun nite haha
