The injury situation is somewhat worrisome: Boyle's out for who-knows-how-long, Dubinsky looked hurt tonight .... this team can't really afford anymore forward injuries.

And I think Boyle's absence was definitely noticeable in the last two games.

ooo i did not see him comeback or in the line...i missed that...glad to see him show class and comeback...thanks for letting us know

Anderson had a great series...he keeps playing that well and he'll continue to be a great goalie in the league

Yea but his role is his role i dont knock him for that...because in the end he shook hands...as if saying its the game..but im a nice guy...:0)

Well that turned out okay.

Got to give those Sens some credit--they pretty much gave us all we could handle and I agree Neil was very cool in the end especially considering all the 'Neil is an *******' chants the MSG crowd serenaded him with all night long. He played his heart out--so did Anderson and Karlsson and it was probably Michalek's best game of the series. They certainly don't have anything to be ashamed about and with a lucky bounce or two it might be them going on--not us.

To go onto our Rangers--tonight is a great example of why we need as many defensively responsible defensemen as possible because when the going gets tough they manage to hang in there and with Henrik backing them up we can win games even if we don't score a lot. Chris Kreider has gotten up to NHL speed super fast. He caused a lot of havoc for Ottawa tonight. Artie who had been fading also had a really good game--there wasn't anyone really who played poorly. Dubi playing on one leg--sets up the winning goal--did a great job of toughing things out. Cally, Feds, Hagelin Stepan, Richards also really really solid.

Yep. Tonight's victory was great, but there's a lot of ground left to cover. Washington has been playing well, and they're going to a very tough task.

Seconded. Very classy by Neil; the handshake line is one of the coolest things in sports.

Gotta score ...Henrik and D are playing well..just need some consistent flow from offense...cause defense wins championships...but you gotta score at least one...

If Holtby keeps playing the way he has been, the Caps are going to be a very tricky team to handle. Time to start thinking about the next round.

Do we know when Game 1 is yet?
