Agreed...I mean remarkable...and we needed it with a lackluster offense...but you never know...things might just start clicking going forward...the washington keeper is play well..so we gotta get that consistency...dosent mean your gonna net them all..but we need more flow from our offense...we'll see how it turns out.

Almost **** my pants by the end of the game....But I'm so excited to get to next round.

Ultimate goal is very very very far away....but not a bad start, got some momentum.

Bring on the caps.

I'd say Sunday.

Knicks will be playing on Sat. afternoon, so I doubt they conflict.

Knicks are away. Rangers are home. Knicks likely play at 12. Rangers at 3.

Hope Dubinsky injury is nothing serious, and Boyle needs to come back ASAP. This team can't afford a depletion of forward depth.

Teams I didn't want to play in the playoffs (in order of worst to best):

Penguins, Capitals, Senators, Devils, Bruins, Flyers, Panthers.

The Sens outplayed the Rangers for most of this series. In the end, it served as a wakeup call and stressed the importance of defense and goaltending.

Think about all of those long shifts Ottawa had in our zone throughout the series -- lots of passing and cycling but nothing but shots from the point.

They will be ready for the Caps.

The best thing about the series is that Henrik silenced some critics, including myself. He's got a game 7 under his belt and he was outstanding in it.

Don Cherry (The Sens) played a great game, they should have won. The New York Rangers are lucky their alive. Best team lost."

Nice to finally win a playoff series.....even though it was a heart attack for the past 5 minutes. WIn one more and we are playing with house money.

Interesting fact:

And for the lurking Sens fans this is not a knock on Karlsson.

Every Ranger dman except Bickel and McD outpointed him in this series...had anyone told me that before the series started I would have bet the house they were wrong.

It's Don Cherry; you can't expect much. The Rangers had about 3-4 extremely good scoring chances they didn't convert on either. I really don't see how it's so clear cut as to say "best team lost". It was an extremely close game and extremely close series.

Funny that there isn't as much talking after this game now that we won the series. Funny how winning shuts people up.

I'm hoping the first round monkeys are off their backs and they go back to playing the way they did tonight. We'll get the scoring going, Gabs will step it up for the second round and Kreider is only going to get better. This team makes me so happy right now, I and the **** in my house that didn't get broken, thank you!

Washington is an easier task than any other team we could've possibly faced. Let's remember that if the favorites had all won, we'd be facing the Pens now. Or if Washington and the Debs lost Game 7, we'd be facing Philthy now.

Washington barely made the playoffs. That's not a bad opponent for round 2.

* Ailurophile promised to eat Kershaw's pubes if we win round 2. (http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh...7#post48675547 - scroll to the middle of the page)

I think we all will be looking forward to seeing it on YouTube.
