Yeah forget eating crow. Pubes are the new crow. Who was that btw?

please don't take this the wrong way.... I agree they are a better match up in the 2nd round than what we could have been facing....BUT
still not an easy task, if they can knock off the defending stanley cup champions, and play a d style game now then run and gun game...it just adds to another difficult series coming up here...holtby is a similar goalie to anderson, have to get him moving, need patience for him to make the first move cuz he makes the first move and then strike....it will be a great challenge!
well if anything it's more of the same and hopefully we'll settle down and play with some more composure. Rangers did not struggle with the Caps anywhere near they did with Ottawa. I'm notsaying it will be easy, but it's familiar territory also.

Well the Bruins of this year were not the Bruins of last year.
No Horton. Kreici came down to earth. Seguin wasn't as effective as last year. Their defense had holes. Tim Thomas didn't play like a Vezina finalist.
5 key deciding factors.
The Caps are gonna be hard but they'll be beatable. It's about frustrating them. If we beat them a few times in a row they'll likely lose their composure more rather than stick together and bond as a team - there are far too many me first players there for that to be the outcome. Conversely, letting them get ahead in the series early will only give them confidence and probably be the end of us.
Gotta build on this momentum. Win the 2 at home early on here. Split in Wash. And then take care of business soon thereafter.
Nice game, good job pulling it out. Wasn't perfect, but with the level of competition in the playoffs it's super hard to play a "perfect" game
Rangers worked hard all night and got big games from Lundqvist, their defense, and most of their forwards. Sens made life hard for Richards and Gaborik again but everyone stepped up
and what a game by Kreider, what development in 5 short games. He's already improved 100% from his play in college, he really does almost look like a 6'3 225 lb Hagelin
If you could have traded for two players from OTT to play for The Rangers next years, who would you have taken? And wich two would you have traded away?

But my point is that there are no easy opponents in round 2. You have half the league eliminated after the regular reason. You have 8 more teams eliminated in the first round. You have 73.33% of the teams eliminated by the time you get to round 2.
By definition, anyone you face in the second round not only made the playoffs, but also beat another playoff team. How can such a team be bad? It can't be.
So we will face a tough team no matter what. Washington is the least bad of all possible options.
If you go back 2 weeks ago and think of all our possible options, you'd take the Craps over anyone else. The others we could have faced are: Pitt, Pens and Debs. All 3 of these are stronger than Wash.

No doubt in my mind i would take Karrlson....he really impressed me in this series.
not being on msg anymore is really annoying...i know it probably has nothing to do with the CBA...but maybe itll change with the new CBA cuz it is NOT RIGHT to force us all to give ratings to NBC and HORRIBLE commentators
Lets Go Rangers
Oh my God McQuire. Controversial play(bad penalty) commercial break. Return and instead of seeing a replay, McQuire is asking a coach a stupid question. the coach for either team, pauses You can read his mind( are you f***ing kidding me). The coach answers and we never see the the replay.

I can already hear Emrick in my head....make it stop nooo
Marc Staal led all blueliners tonight with 26:44 TOI in the most important game of the season.
So now that you lost a bet... would you like those pubes on a Mcpubewhich? or maybe a TacoPube Deluxe? How about a Triple decker deluxe combo w/ a sprinkle of pubies?
Btw. I had a 5 dollar foot long one that is golden but I felt an infraction coming on for that one It was a beaut though.
