If Karlsson wins the Norris the NHL really has gone down. Chara should of won it last year and should get it this year.

Weber is going to get it because people think he is "due."

No matter that Chara had the better season.

As an unbiased observer, I think Chara should win it. He had a great season.

Didn't play at Norris level in PO. Wasn't poor by any means, but he had some pretty bad miscues. Even in g7 he failed to keep the puck on on the pp at the end of regulation on
n the pp.

Doesn't matter. Voting is already done and they are the top vote getters.

As they say in Vegas: What happens in the playoffs, stays in the playoffs

Exactly. Weber got jobbed last year, so this year is going to be a makeup call.

I actually thought Chara got jobbed last year. He had the better season last year, no?

Lidstrom, if I remember correctly, was a minus player and had a pretty rough year and won based purely on the rumors of his retirement. Bush league.

Last year the trophy should have been between Chara and Weber, and it was close, but I think the consensus reaction (outside of Boston) after was that Weber should have won it. Lidstrom winning it was a slap in the face. He had nothing going for him but reputation. Total joke.

Lidstrom won it because people thought he was out the door. It was a going away present IMO.

Chara should have this locked up.

Yeah I totally agree. And it would be even worse if Karlsson wins it this year.

Congrats to Chara.

I think Weber or Chara should have won it last year-they both got jobbed.

I think Chara is the best defenseman in the league, although I think Weber wins it this year due to the "it's his time" factor. I won't cry if Weber wins it, but I won't be happy at all if it is Karlsson.

Congrats to Chara. So many take him for granted. He's a standout not only as a defenseman, but as a captain and a person. He makes me proud to be a Bruins fan.

Karlsson has looked awful in the playoffs defensively. All the Sens fans boasting about his defensive play are pretty much delusional. He has no business winning a Norris this year.

I don't know that Karlsson is awful defensively, but his defensive play leaves me underwhelmed when it comes to my definition of a Norris candidate.

No doubt he is offensively skilled, but he is average in the defensive zone.

Chara or Weber. Likely Chara if voters do a good job; Green didn't win it in his monster season and nor should Karlsson.
