If there was one word I would use to describe Coples, it would be amemic. Most games I thought he was MAYBE the third best player on the d-line. And no this is not a biased State perspesctive because I switched to State on Dec. 15. I found myself wondering why the likes of Kiper and McShay kept putting him up so high. He just doesnt do anything for me and I'm hoping we dont pick him.
I should be ashamed that I'm more interested in the NFL Draft tonight than the two Game 7s...
But one of them is NJ/Florida for goodness sake! And the other, hate to say it, is a foregone conclusion. As much as I like them, can't see Ottawa winning this one tonight.
I'm ecstatic with Barron and Martin, filled two HUGE needs.
Big deal that no corner was selected? Seems like a huge hole... And with no second round pick no chance to grab a guy like Janoris Jenkins... Agreed that two holes were filled, but not the most glaring one IMO.

We still have some depth with Talib, Ronde and Wright. We had no depth at safety after releasing Jackson. And CB isn't our biggest need, OLB is.
A RB was likely going to be the pick in round two anyways. So technically we traded up in Round 2 and traded back in Round 4 (a pick we didn't have coming in).

Was Talib not like arrested? Or am I just proving my complete lack of Bucs knowledge by asking if he was?
Also, I feel like Lamichael James would've been a great complement to Blount, rather than Martin (although still a fantastic pick). A Sproles-type player to come in and catch passes on 3rd down, that way Blount can just pound up the middle as necessary on 1st and 2nd.

Multiple times. I believe he goes on trial fairly soon.
But, I'm sure we'll take a CB at some point. We still have Myron Lewis (who we drafted in the 3rd Round in 2010) and E.J. Biggers (mediocre to decent nickel back), so we have some young players to bring in.

Didn't see you added this...
The problem is, aside from power running, Blount can't do anything else. He can't catch, block, or hang onto the football. We were looking for an all around back and Martin fits the bill there.

I enjoyed the Panthers selection, and got several chuckles out of the severe backlash to the pick on the Panthers facebook page. If you think the Hurricanes page is full of idiots you are correct, but the Panthers page is WAY worse.
Been a fan since I got the chance to meet Sean Burke in 1993 and he signed his hat and gave it to me. Also I was at ECU from 2001-2005 so got to experience a cup run first hand.
Jaguars cause when I was a kid in 1980's I wanted to be the next big QB (who doesn't when they're 6 haha) I started following Mark Brunell when he signed with Washington cause I'm left handed and he was the best southpaw at the time (IMO anyway). Begged and pleaded with my parents and finally they caved and at the expense of both Christmas AND my birthday, I got to go to the 1993 Rose Bowl between Mark Brunell and the Washington Huskies and Elvis Grbac and the Michigan Wolverines. I realise you're probably too young to even know who those people are But tragically the Huskies lost 38-31 I was a SeaHawk fan before hand (Mostly just cause of Brian Bosworth tho, I did my hair like him from 1987 till 1992) But after Brunell was traded to Jacksonville I had my team, so glad he got his ring in 2009, ten years after teh Jags were robbed of the SB but that's another story
Steelers... Boring, Smart, Safe, Fill needs.... PERFECT
Prettymuch my thoughts exactly on that pick. About the only thing the team really lacked over the past few years has been a good OLine. Figured they absolutely HAD to address the line, they had only drafted 2 OLinemen in the first 2 rounds over the past decade (Pouncey in the 1st in 10, Gilbert in the 2nd last year).
Next no-brainer is going to be landing an understudy for Casey Hampton. Was hoping they would have snagged Chris Neild late last year for that since he's about as good as you could ask for as a late rounder.
