Stepan, Cally and Kreider looked like Hags, Gabby, Richards in the last two games.

Keep these 2 lines together and we will win.

I think are 3 & 4 lines match up well vs. the Caps. I fully expect Arty and Dubi to contribute by potting some pucks.

2nd Round is Washington's kryptonite.

Very similar to my thoughts going into the OTT series. Should be long, should be difficult, but we will win if we come up when it counts. If not, we go home.

This series is going to come down to which teams second line plays best imho.

I think the 2 top lines will be a wash, with both teams shutting down each others top lines fairly well. The difference is going to be the Stepan line. Can they continue their 2 game dominance into this series? Will be interesting to see.

And Gaborik.

Gaborik has to find his game.

Well obviously the solution is to put all our worst players on the first line then!

Well I'm going to pretend like we already advanced.

So, who do you guys want to face for the ECF? Philly or the devils?

Predictably, Cap fans are trying to play up the Ovechkin card. Ovechkin doesn't scare me one bit. Fully confident that our top blueliners can limit him to a couple of fluky goals as he tries to do his highly predictable one on one moves down the wing repeatedly.

It's the likes of Semin, Backstrom, Johansson, Brouwer, Carlsona and Alzner that I fear.

I think the Rangers take this series in six games, but it won't be easy by any stretch. They'll really have to work for it.

Anybody thinking of going to a game in DC?
I live by there and want to go, but not be in a section of Caps fans.

I'm so tired of Washington... hearing names like Brooks Laich just piss me off now. Please handle them.

I was thinking about it until I saw the cheapest seats were $115... that's too much for this recent college grad!

The Bruins rely on their D to control the puck for long streches of time...the Rangers rely more on their forwards cycling the pucks, with our D coming in when we have no other options.

Holtby is a rebound machine from what I saw. if the Rangers can get to those pucks, they can win, but if they are 1 and done, like they were against Anderson, I think the Caps are going to win this series :-/

We always did a good job of defending Ovechkin back when he was the 60+ goal a season dominant player. Now that he isnt that guy anymore....I'm certainly not concerned about our ability to shadow him.
