Speaking from a personal perspective (because I obviously can't speak for the whole board,) I'd always liked the Rangers and their fans prior to this series, and I'm sure I'll continue to do so now that the series is done. Give the Caps hell.
I have a amazing amount of respect for your team. Great effort. I have a feeling we'll be seeing you guys again in the next few playoffs.

There were a few constant that would come in throughout this series and troll away.
Can't call them out we know who they are. Just funny they can't be like you and just say congrats and move on.

You get a few bad eggs in every fanbase. *shrug* I'm just glad they've gone underground now that the season's over. A quiet offseason will be nice.

Great idea, but Biron hasn't played in a while. He would probably be rusty. I would call up Cam Talbot from Hartford and play him game 1. He has been awesome at Hartford in the playoffs.

I all honesty, I'm not sure why so many people were freaking out about this series. I felt like Ottawa legitimately outplayed us in 2 games this series-game 3 in Ottawa which we won, and game 4. I think we outplayed them in game 1, game 5, and game 2 because of some lucky bounces. Now I know that teams usually generate their own luck, so to speak, by pressuring teams down low, but you have to admit at least one of their goals was lucky. So, coming back to MSG I felt like we could take them. However, Ottawa played a great series and they should be proud. I think game 2 was the turning point for them. With those game misconducts and suspensions I think it threw us off our physical game a little bit. Anderson played well, and I feel like we're going to run into another hot goaltender in Holtby next round. Nevertheless, the Rangers started winning in every game this series when I took my pants off. Guess I have to start watching Rangers games with my **** out from now on...

I was calling for the Rangers to sign Konopka last off-season. He adds grit and face-off prowess to any line-up. He is also a good PKer.

best part about this win...the younger team actually won. Ppl love to talk about how young their team is and what not. Right now the 2 youngest teams in the playoffs are the Rangers and the Predators. and, imho, those are the 2 best teams left in the playoffs. The Rangers are very good this year, next year, i think we'll be even better.

So I was driving upstate to my alma mater for alumni weekend and during the last 10 minutes the radio feed was going in and out. It was so god damn stressful. I couldn't tell wtf was going on and finally I hear "the rangers will win game 7." I need to watch the replay of the game!

I'm just here to get my vCash back. Who do I talk to about this? We're going hungry on our boards.

I'm one happy mother****er.

Tremendous respect for Ottawa, except for Carkner. They should have been better than an 8th seed. Unreal team.

Haven't had a chance but wanted to extend my congratulations to the Rangers. THey played extremely hard and sacrificed their bodies at an astonishing rate to ensure that they protected their lead. It was really crazy to watch that at the end, even as a Sens fan, you gotta do a slow clap in respect.

Hank, the entire defence (minus Bickel just because he played so little) were unbelievable. And young. That may be the backbone of a Stanley Cup Championship team. I don't know if it will be this year but soon. Guys like Kreider, Stepan, Hagelin will only improve and hopefully Gaborik and Dubinsky can rediscover their forms moving onward against the Caps. Callahan and Prust, two tough hombres who play well above their weight, lead the offence in spirit and tenacity. Doesn't hurt to have Brad Richards to lean on when you need someone with experience to help this very young team.

It has been a pleasure! I am disappointed that we lost but really enjoyed our season, the team building and will look forward to 2012-2013 with a full season of Kyle Turris, Jakob Silfverberg and the continued development of rookies like Greening, Condra, Smith. I think Andy has proven himself to be not a career backup and Sergei Gonchar can still play! Thank goodness.

Good luck against the Caps, I will be cheering for the Rangers!

At 11:11, we count down from 10 to 1. When the clock hits 11, we chant 'Al-fie! Al-fie! Al-fie!'

I sure hope that's not the last time Alfie will hear that during his playing career.

We mocked the Sens fans by counting down and yelling Alfie Sucks!

...Even better is that Dan scored 4 seconds into it, AND Alfredo was on the ice for it.
