Much respect for Tootoo

They're showing the interview again on NHLNet with Tootoo (I saw it when it first came out). Not to sound too mushy and lame, I'll say this guy is an inspiration. Overcoming his struggles like he has to have the best season of his career, this guy is great. Much respect.

Tootoo's story is awesome. The guy had a problem, recognized it, and handled it. He knew that handling it would become a public story, which might dissuade anyone from getting help, yet he lowered his head and continue through the barriers.

Too bad his game has fallen off a bit so he is riding the bench right now. We'll see if he can be more useful to the team next round

Great story indeed. Had a great season until the last month or so. Hope he can step it back up because the youngin's are taking over. For the longest time I thought Tootoo would be a Pred for life. Now I'm not so sure.

Leafs fan here. Just wanted to say that I really enjoy watching your team and have been cheering for you guys in these playoffs. I even have a jersey! (sales FTW).

I do have a question regarding the Tootoo situation. I noticed in an interview on TSN that Weber had a "Team Tootoo" hat on. What's the story behind this? Are the guys on the team getting behind him because he's not playing or what?

Team Tootoo is a charity fund he started for suicide awareness/prevention.
(His older brother was a victim of it)
