Would you have written that before the playoffs?

It's cool that at least Joe is on NBC. Does Sam do any work with them during the playoffs?

I thought he played OK.

First two goals were terrible.

Third goal is not really his fault, he was screened and couldn't kick the puck out of the slot. Mostly his Dman's fault for not staying near his post.

He did show some serious weakness with screens, which Predators did quite well.

Actually, maybe.

He was great down the stretch. Last 20 games he played outstanding. Honestly, he was solid all year.

Maybe I'm looking at stats too much but the Yotes were 18th in scoring and the Preds 8th. Considering the Predators don't have anybody scoring a whole bunch of points, I'd think the Predators have plenty of scoring depth and probably more than the Yotes.

Preds have A TON more scoring from their backend, but I think Yotes forwards are better up and down the lineup.

He used to, but I haven't seen him call a game on Versus (at the time) in a few years.

I guess they're really anonymous because before the playoffs I couldn't name too many players on that team.

Are you referring to the Coyotes?

They got Doan, Whitney, Hanzal(might be one of the best defensive forwards in the game-I'd love to have him on the Rangers), Pyatt, Vrbata, Korpi, Langkow etc.

Very solid group of forwards. Its not overwhelming but I think its better than Nashville's.

Radulov alone is better than any forward you listed there

Disagree.

Nashville has better scoring depth, and Rinne > Smith.

Going to love watching rest of WC teams play. Preds, Yotes, Blues and Kings are probably my 4 favorite teams in Western Conference. On contrary, I despise the other 3 teams in EC.

Blues in 7. Yotes in 7.

Rinne was very ordinary tonight. And it's not the first time that has happened when he plays Phoenix.

Big treat for me...a friend got me a glass seat right on the goal line. I was wearing a Rozsival Ranger jersey and the winning goal was scored right in front of me.

Yotes can't expect to play like they did tonight and win this series.

I still see Nashville taking it when all is said and done. I think the intensity is going to pick up, however. There was a lot of coach posturing here, feeling one another out. There should be more flow from here on out. Big respect for both clubs, however. The longer the series lasts, the better for hockey fans.

Its called the "Rally towel" and its derived from the "Terrible towel" from the Steelers(which was colored yellow). It has no relationship to waving a white flag.

Its a stupid tradition created for the sole purpose of selling products.

I thought you were making a cute dig, and I thought it was funny. I didn't think you were being serious. I made the other dig in response in good fun.

Sorry if my post came off the wrong way, this was the story I had heard about the rally towels.

Was it a white ranger jersey? I was wondering why a ranger fan was sitting front row at a Phoenix home playoff game.

I saw the same thing and was wondering the same thing. Then I thought to myself, that has to be the guy on HF.

Having Kovi, Parise and Elias playing against the utterly poor defense of Philly could be interesting. Another 50+ goal-series?

Yup, that was me. It's a Rozsival gamer from 2007 so I can kill two birds with one stone.

Considering Philly's defense/goal-tending, I can see Elias having a huge series.

If its a goalfest, Philly wins. Devils are going to have to close the game up. You don't want to be trading chances with Philly.
