as far as the playoffs are concerned, does anyone know a rough schedule of when the games will take place? i want to try and fit them into my schedule, i'd have to come down to ny from school and such. so i'd wanna know when they are.
The revenue-sharing agreement calls for NBC to televise seven regular-season games beginning in January and six Stanley Cup playoff contests in regular Saturday afternoon time slots. In addition, NBC, which replaces ABC as the league's broadcast partner, will broadcast Games 3 through 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals in primetime.
The network’s playoffs coverage will begin on Friday, April 21. OLN will continue its playoff coverage throughout May, ending with the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final on June 5 and 7, 2006.
I think 'extensive playoff coverage' means OLN will continue to do monday and tuesday games, keeping the same format of one of them being blacked out on the regular network and the other viewable through it. I think it's safe to say that the monday OLN games along with the rest of the non OLN or NBC games will be viewable on MSG (provided of course, the Rangers are playing in that game....) Also all Stanley Cup games are going to be nationally televised.
