Allow me to say F NBC... whenever NBC covers a Rangers game, am I the only one that feels like the other team is treated as the "home" team, meaning most focus on them, homerism towards the other team... and the Rangers are sort of the "visiting" team, as if the announcers etc. are always pulling for the other team, not the Rangers... it is hard to put it into words, but you get my drift...
Again..The caps play the same game we do except we have a better D and better goalie...Plus the caps dont have the speed Ottawa does..i dont know why people are so worried about the caps...even though its only game 1... i just didnt see a problem before the series...or moving foward from here...
yeah ive been cautious and still am...cuz i had a good feeling after game 1 win over ottawa and that one was tough...but definitely different team
This caps team doesn't scare me one bit compared to last year. I still am not too worried about Backstrom, OV, or Green. The caps secondary players like Chimera and Johanson are the players that seem to give us the most fits in these playoff series (outside of Semin).
Gaborik was TERRIBLE. That was one of the worst games I have seen him play in the post season. He had TONS of space all game and did ZERO with it. He decided yet again that he wasn't going to keep his feet moving. Torts needs a long serious discussion with our superstar RW.
So are they Caps a slower team then the Sens? Because they seemed pretty slow today.
Ohh I just saw the answer.. haha
Not as fast on the transition but they can be much scarier on the cycle. Washington D isn't nearly as mobile as Ottawas D. The Rangers really have to be careful of Semin picking off passes in the neutral zone. He almost did it twice in this game.
