I like that they are asking for bad hockey karma. I'll take what we can get.

That was a huge goal for VV. That will let him get a lot of confidence now.

Nice job holding the puck in, but the Kings aren't going to score with 4 guys on the perimeter like that.
Would also prefer to have Voynov in there on the PP over AMart as it gives two one-timer options for Kopitar to pass to off the half wall.

Kings didn't play great, but that was a good period. If that makes sense.

GreAt job Kings! Way to get it back before the end of the first.
Nice to see a series where there is less cheap crap after the whistle. -Perron.

After that start, getting out of the 1st period tied is good. Gotta get more going offensively and stop being so fidgety with the puck.

I guess the Blues still like running goaltenders. Lucky, Quick got a good shot in.

I think the Kings will take that, 1-1 after getting outplayed a good portion of that period.

One the road, in the playoffs, against one the best home teams in the NHL. You gotta be pretty happy with the out come of that period. Kings usually play better in the 2nd period.

Quick never ceases to amaze! If he can see it and it doesn't change direction, he's gonna stop it.

Exactly. Kings should probably be down atleast 2-1. Quick made a couple of amazing saves, even by his standards.
It's great to be tied, also nice to see the second line create some offense after not doing much in the first round. Great feed by Penner on a goal that would have never been scored with TM as coach.
TM: Slava great goal, but never do it again, if you hadn't scored it could have been 2 on 1 the other way

He's continuing to get better, as we saw at the end of the first round. He had a couple good attempts at goal and played strong along the boards. He's doing fine, but needs to avoid those shot blokes better.
