Flyers line combos from NHL.com
http://www.nhl.com/ice/blogpost.htm?id=9089
"Whether that means Nicklas Grossmann (upper-body injury) and/or Andrej Meszaros (back surgery) are ready for Game 1 remains unknown."
Scott Hartnell - Claude Giroux - Jaromir Jagr
Matt Read - Brayden Schenn - Wayne Simmonds
James van Riemsdyk - Danny Briere - Jakub Voracek
Maxime Talbot - Sean Couturier - Eric Wellwood
Braydon Coburn - Nicklas Grossmann
Kimmo Timonen - Matt Carle
Andreas Lilja - Erik Gustafsson
Jody Shelley and Zac Rinaldo skated as extra forwards. Andrej Meszaros and Pavel Kubina were the fourth defense pair.

That forward line-up is the envy of the entire league.

Like that they are keeping Gus in on that third pairing also glad to see JVR with Briere and Jake, could be a nice line.

To be honest, IF this team keeps up the intensity that they've had all season... I'm not even gonna finish that sentence.

Kimmo should be with Coby but I can see that top line being complete shutdown guys. Who would they match up on the devils?

It sure looks great. A team like the Blues have some serious forward depth as well though, and the Predators current
5th line is Colin Wilson- Craig Smith - Jordin Tootoo or something like that.

I doubt they'll break up the Coburn-Grossmann pairing if Grossmann is ready to go. They'll most likely be on the ice whenever Kovalchuk is (half the game, that is).
I like that they've got Schenn moved into a center role. The JvR-Brière-Voracek line could be great if JvR is nearing 100% and they find some chemistry together.

They may be small but they are two of the smartest and best positional d-man we have.

They were our weakest line as far as D goes.

Timonen doesn't have the footspeed to make up for the Carle's turnovers...
That's my concern.

Not really. There is a reason why Simmonds was moved from that line and Voracek was inserted.

I am so pumped about that line. Briere and Voracek were on and now playoff JVR!
