There were no injury concerns before this season.
He won't be the same player even with the rehab and all goes well. That 3.5 second speed up the open court? probably gone. His 40 inch vertical? gone. I'm just hoping his b-ball i.q. gets higher and has the vision. He'll still be damn good, but not ridiculously good. I hope he proves me wrong. I was crushed when Baron Davis blew his out. I still miss his athleticism. Serious knee injuries to NBA players is the most crippling (kinda like serious concussions to hockey players). Just awful, awful news.

In regards to Rose, he hasn't played two games back to back since early March. This was bound to happen. He was playing through injuries and probably compensating by putting too much strain on his knee. My opinion but he was untouched on that jump. It just gave out.

toe injury caused back injury caused groin injury causes acl tear.

my theory at least.

IMO, they shoulda shut him down for an extended period with that toe injury. He's the franchise. It also irked me when they continued to let Luol play with a bum wrist despite having a top 2 seed locked up. You don't play for the regular season, you play for the championship.

The Cubs, somehow, own the Phillies.
