Bickel isn't playing forward. He's been playing on the 3rd pair the entire playoffs. Eminger played forward against the caps while Dubi was out.

When one of Dubi/Boyle get back, Eminger comes out. When the other comes back, it will most likely be Mitchell who comes out.

Never thought Kreider would play well enough out of the gate to push Mitchell out of the lineup, but that's what will happen. Eminger or Bickel comes out first. Then Mitchell.

Eminger and Bickel are Dmen. Torts loves Bickel as the 6th Dman and well he's actually earned his spot.

Mitchell is out for sure if the team gets Boyle and Dubinsky back. They dont take out the leadership of Rupp. Everyone talks about Feds who is doing great but Rupp was also brought in for locker room leadership at this time of yr

Eminger played wing yesterday and Bickel has been averaging less than 5 minutes a game the last few games. One of them is coming out first and if Bickel can't be trusted 5 on 5 in a series without fisticuffs then I can see Eminger getting the 6th spot over him.

I agree Rupp isn't coming out. Feds was brought in for the post-season and Torts made it clear he's happy with what Feds has brought so far this April. Mitchell is the odd man out.

Anybody have any updates on these two?

Really can't wait to see what this team can look like with Dubi and Boyle back on the third line

When the first one comes back, you sit Bickel/Eminger (whoever is on the 4th line). When the 2nd comes back, sit Mitchell. If Zuccarello is healthy and the PP needs help, I wouldn't sit Rupp or Feds who have both played well. That's definitely a tough choice.

I'd rather keep Rupp and Feds in over Dubinsky to be honest.

Saw Brandon Dubinsky slowly walking to trainers' room on crutches. Count him out for tomorrow. Boyle progressing, feels better. Good sign.

He wasn't in a cast. Dubinsky could have a high ankle sprain.

Well that is what had Eminger miss a couple months. It can be one of the hardest injuries to recover from. I think we have seen the last of Dubi in a Ranger jersey.

I'm a lot more concerned about who we put in if another forward or two go down to injuries...

My ideal line-up:

Hags-Richie-Gabby
Kreider-Step-Cally
Dubinsky-Anisimov-Prust
Rupp-Boyle-Fedotenko

Prust and Fedotenko are interchangeable in this line-up. I think this is the most logical line-up we could think of. Mitchell WON'T sit knowing Torts but he really should.

Having our centers like this:

Richards
Stepan
Anisimov
Boyle

would make me feel really confident. In theory Boyle could be put on the third line, but I still feel like Anisimov might be a better all around player (regardless of points) and besides that, Boyle should be eased in for at least a game or a couple of periods. It all depends on how they play though.. If Boyle is playing noticeably well, then bump him up to the third and drop Anisimov.

Thats smart take out a guy whos won I believe 2 cups and brings size... for a player with no playoff exp,can barely crack the lineup and is 5'0' tall...

yeah your one of those fans that would have a team of softies....when will you ever learn!!

Rupp is averaging 4:31 per game in the playoff he is having almost no effect. Zucc on the other hand can actually play on the powerplay and try to accomplish something
