not a fan of Mike Smith behind the net. most goalies will stop the puck and leave it for a defenseman to pick up, Smith holds on to it back there and passes it out at the last second. No wonder Shaw hit him back there, i'm holding my breath every time a Pred goes in after a puck because of the high chance of penalty should they contact the goaltender.


and damnit the Coyotes score first. worst thing that could have happened.

exactly, I don't know why some people still want him in there regularly. good guy, but he's always going to be in the box.

Of course this doesn't say anything about the officials discretion for calling only one penalty there, or any penalty at all.
