We Can Thank the Ducks for our Win Tonight

Rucchin - G
Sykora - G
Ozolinsh - G, A

Though, Prucha, Jagr scoring with Nylander and Straka assisting with Lundqvist in net didn't hurt.

But, getting those three for Joe Rullier, Maxim, and a 3rd rounder is pretty good.

Edit - It was Gillies, not Rullier. Thanks

Does Sather has dirty pictures of Burke somewhere in his file? Talking about ripping people off...

For Gillies, Maxim, and a third, Sather did ok. Would have liked to see less d-blunders by Ozo, but if his offense can make up for it, that's a trade off that we have to accept for now.

ozo was dreadful last night and adding him to the lineup has screwed up 2 of the 3 pairs.

It'll take him time to get adjusted. Be patient, see how he looks after 12 games or so. He did bring the offense last night, gotta give him some credit.

Agreed. I think that instead of pairing him with Tyutin, Ozo should be paired with Kasparaitis. Kaspar's stay-at-home d will offset his penchant for turnovers and blown coverages. Tyutin is good, but I'd rather see him back with Poti, since Poti has improved since last being paired with Toots. It is safe to say that Ozolinsh is the worst defensive defenseman we have. So, pair him with the best (or the second best in Kaspar).
