So pumped for tonight, my boss is a Caps fan and she sucks. Erskine out, Boyle in - I am liking the way this game is shaping up!! Also, my girlfriend and I concur that my playoff beard officially makes me look like a meth head. Let's do this!!! LGR!

12-0. Kreider with 9 and lets Gaborik score an empty-netter.

Haha. Holtby doing his best Tim Thomas impression:

Comments after Game 1:

Quote:
Most of the new buildings are really bright and really white," Holtby said. "It is harder for a goalie, but both teams play with it. Itís not like (Rangers goaltender Henrik) Lundqvist at the other end has better sights than I do. It's hard, but both teams deal with it.

With the slightest bit of "pumping the tires" ala Roberto Luongo thrown in for good measure.

Hoping for a 2-0 lead in the series. But we all know what that would mean... Caps in 6.

You can just click the box that says "Quote" in the bottom right hand of the post. If you're on the mobile version of the site, in the lower left corner their is a button you press that says "[REPLY]".

2-0 series lead would be great because I can't see the Rangers losing 4 out of a possible 5 remaining games.

Ugh... I have to work tonight and can't "be sick" as there are only so many times I can pull that off and I need one or two in the bank if we make a really deep run. I'll be watching this one tomorrow morning before a doctor's appointment. Fun fun... Phone goes off at 7pm. Do work boys!

Look for caps to abandon the defensive style and go with what beat us the last two playoffs we played them. Keeping the puck in our zone like Ottawa did will give us more headaches. Just saying watch out.
Let's go Rangers!

I am actually surprised Holtby got so much praise by NHL analysts. I mean he had one good series but the bruins really did play well. He is not a bum but the kid seemed really shook up in Game 1. they need tio use their spee in kreider hagelin and stepan and i think holtby will be rattled

I'm still shocked at how AO is NOTHING like he's been the past couple years.. used to grind my teeth every time he touched the puck and now it's like he's not as aggressive or something...I hope it stays that way though...I'm convinced he was juicing up until this year LOL
