We just made some mistakes tonight, I don't think we'll continue doing it.

Also, Hank had a down game. I don't expect him to have another one.

I still think we pull out this series. We outplayed them bigtime today.

Win game 3. Shut them up.

Bad luck.

The Rangers outplayed the Caps for most of the game, just had a few bad bounces, including a terrible call being made against them.

Come back with a vengeance and take the lead in the series on Wednesday.

No. Richards scoring ability would.

Look it ****ing sucks that we lost, but we looked good out there for the most part.

That was a brutal penalty call on Richards.

But we for some reason are playing pretty solid against the Caps...Just hope we can keep this up in Washington

Yeah it was a terrible call, but it probably doesn't even get to that point without the Bickel/Lundqvist poor plays.

I thought we played great this game. Very rare mistake by Hank and a total jobbing by the officials. Won't happen again.

perhaps, but we battled back to tie it .. this game at very worst should be in OT now. Blown call leads to caps pp leads to goal leads to a LOSS.

I'm ****ing pissed, but at the same time, tonight basically reaffirms what I thought about the Capitals. They're not that good. We're clearly the superior team. If Lundqvist doesn't make an incredibly stupid play, we're in OT right now, and if the ref isn't blind, we win 2-1.

Bickel sucks (Eminger in next game?).

Still very confident about this team advancing to the next round. They have controlled play for a majority of the last two games and the PP actually looked decent tonight. Minus two costly mistakes, this team played extremely well.

Rangers in 6.

Agreed...Torts stop ****ing with the Hagelin - Richards - Gaborik line and the Kreider - Stepan - Callahan line

****ing **** it was too much tweaking out there

no rofl that would've been richards winning the game. how are the two even related? lose a guy for 2m vs having a guy playing offense for 2m... not even comparable, yo.

i would've rathered them call it how it happened and given us the powerplay to be honest... but a non-call would've sufficed. pretty boneheaded refs.

whole game no-- end result, yes.

Cause and effect, Bickel doesn't make the first bad play, DelZotto doesn't have to blow the coverage.

God, I am trying so hard not to rage right now. I need to buy myself something to feel better.

Wonder how much NHL refs are going for on Amazon?

actually I liked Gaborik the first half of the game. Then he got separated from Richards and from that point he stopped receiving pucks. I liked his effort tonight. Hopefully he will continue with more physical play (with Richards on center).

As I said in the other thread:

As much as I am a diehard NYR fan, I was not upset that Ovechkin scored. I am sick and tired of this fanbase being more concerned with taunting, than winning. That lame, Ovie sucks chant is not even original. When they did it in Game 1, I turn to my friends and say "watch, this will ignite him". I'm glad he scored like 30 seconds after they did it. Serves them right.

We can't blame the refs. That's silly. It was a close game and some of our boys made bad plays (Henrik, Bickel etc). This is the playoffs. They need to win in Washington anyhow.

I am also completely in favor of sitting Bickel. He's useless at this point.

Both Ranger Fan's and Washington Fans are embarrassing themselves in these threads blaming the refs, diving, the newest harry potter book, as the reason for losing.

If we eliminate two mental mistakes this game is ours, If we continue to play this way we should be able to take the series. It reminds me of our playoff series last year just in reverse

bickels was stupid...i was yelling as he put the puck there of all placese when it happend (before the goal)...

henk, well 99% of the time he gets that puck and moves it no problem, chimera startled him, BUT he did make a huge save first, a lil luck and that puck doesn't go in...he made a mistake, we came back for him and tied it though...but its the end we needed something more

gaborik should be playing with kreider. hands down. they had like a third of a shift together and you can already see gaborik has some space.
