He was very... average. He really needs to up his game against the Caps in the playoffs. I can't take another loss from those losers.

Bruins won 2 of 3 in DC, play the right way, and the Rangers will do the same. Hopefully they don't even have to go to DC for game 6.

Home ice isn't exactly an advantage, judging by the W/L records of the home team.

Not sure why anyone would feel nervous about going to Washington.

I thought we played pretty good but self-inflicted wounds lost the game. Simple as that.

I'm truthfully not worried about this series unlike I was about the Sens. No doubt about it that the Caps are a better matchup for us

This team will be fine playing in DC.

In some ways I think they play better away from home.

I'll be surprised if this series went more than 6 games. Once again this series is like a breath of fresh air compared to the Ottawa series. Only thing Washington does better than Ottawa is block shots. Even then we're better than them at that (even though they had more this game). We might lose another game 2-1, 3-2, that's about it.

You had to see the original post in the name the Kreider - Stepan - Cally thread. Would make sense then.

I can't see how anyone can be upset by the way we played tonight. They played well but we didn't get a good result. One hose-job by the refs on a ridiculous dive, one keystone cops play from Henrik playing the puck, and one legit goal from a bad turnover. 2 posts going against us. So I'm not upset but obviously we could have played better but the overall tempo and game looked good. Is it me, or was their 4th line the biggest problem for us? It seemed like every time they were out, they were in our zone causing trouble.

What worries me is despite having more depth the caps have 2 players with one shot scoring ability in Semin and Ovechkin .
This could go any way , and Hunter knows how to coach and is playing the same game as NY and the team that flinches will lose .
NYR have to find a way to get to a rebound

Sorry guys but a "snipe" is most certainly not a wrist shot from 50 feet out.

The puck had eyes.

they weren't generating any offense in that second period. You can't play that way when you're down a goal. They have to start driving to the net and getting in this guys face. This coaching staff needs to make in game adjustments.

we can't play these one goal games all the time, or we giving these
crap refs the opportunity to steal the game away from us tonight.
Carlson, that b#tch sold that play and those A-holes called it.
Jack@ss league this is.

BTW, people seriously need to stop blaming the posts. We all laughed at Caps fans for doing the same after game 1.

When it comes to posts I always adhere to the Bombay Conway Theory...

"An inch the other way, and it would have missed the net completely"

The NYR inability to score goals means they have to play a perfect game .
Tonight they made mistakes .
3 goals against is a death sentence to this group . It's sad to say . Love the team and all they do but they need everything to go their way in order to win .
This one either over with us losing in 6 or going 7 . It's going to come down to goal scoring ..... Which we don't have
