First period was orgasmic.

Then the refs wanted to enter the spotlight.

Could days off again. I think that continues to help the kings. They can get refocused again and Sutter is a master at that.

In Sutter we trust.

It feels like we score more on the PK than on the PP.

These guys are such Blues homers. You'd never have known we were up 5-2 with the non-stop blues talk and barely mentioning how well LA played.

When Williams scored, you could almost hear their tears.

Why can't the kings get Daryl reigh (sp), the Dallas color guy. He's really good.

The kings do. They have 4 PK goals and 3 pp goals in the playoffs.

Their PK is a +1 in the playoffs.

That's because they knew the game would be different if Pietrangelo was playing. Therefor it was a lucky win for LA. Just like our five other lucky wins.

I'm so glad TSN covered the game. Their coverage has been really fair.

He ended up saying his one flaw is over-aggressiveness in certain situations. Doesn't change the fact that he still thinks Hiller is the better goalie.

I was a little surprised that folks don't recognize how you win the Stanley Cup. Ice hockey is a war and to win you have to be a warrior, especially when you are not a super offensive team.

You tolerate nothing from the other team and you beat them senseless. Every time they get tough, you pound them back. Dustin Penner showed what it looks like. You get hit perfectly legally? You beat the **** out of the guy who did it to you.

If he doesn't want to get beat he should not have gotten anywhere near you.

We want our team to win the cup? The Kings have some big players and they need to be bigger. Even Anze was being big and tough.

It is what the NHL playoffs look like.

Back in the 93 playoffs the Kings scored a bunch of SH'ed goals, Taylor Kurri and Sandstrom I think. This playoffs feels like we are exercising our collective demons with this team. Great win tonite, StL has no idea what to do out there and I think the Kings are in their heads.

Our performance was great, the officials performance on the other hand was absolutely ****ing laughable. Hard not to be mad about that.

If we keep this going I bet we won't have to listen to those commentators

Seen the stat that the kings got 5 shots the last two periods protecting the lead, not surprising vintage Darryl Sutter. I'm a big flames fan and as soon as you guys got that lead I knew Sutter would lock down the defensive game, reminds me of his days as the bench boss of the flames. You guys got a good coach and good team.
All the best of luck throughout the playoffs

I say let the announcers be homers, cause they are the ones who are going to have to eat their words. We are the underdogs, and I like it. 8th seed took out #1, and is 2 wins away from taking out #2. Hopefully they will go on and take out #3 or #4 as well.

Penner is pure gold. They asked him about the first goal he says, "that was a long time ago. "

Penner is in full beast mode.

Is it though?

Not at all. The refs just called everything and broke up the plays. Blues had 9 PPs.
