It will be interesting to see how the Blues come out in game 3, considering that they were not nearly as dominant on the road as they were at home.

What a game. How fun was that?

Wish the refs had utilized misconducts a bit more to clean up the crap you knew was coming when one team is getting blown out in their own barn.

Glad there are some extra days off coming up. The team needs some hot tub time after a game like that.

GO KINGS!

I'm watching some of the highlights in anticipation of going home and watching the whole game and...Perron is kind of a piece of ****, huh? I'm sure I'd love the energy if he played for us, but I really want someone to feed him his lunch.

Also, that's two games in a row Crombeen has been tossed at the end, right? Sending goons out at the end is pretty bush.

I'll take a 5-2 lucky win anyday.

I just hope Cliffy is back next game to settle some of these Blues clowns down. That or put Westy in for a game.

LOL. We are outscoring our opponents on the PK and Quick wants it to be better. He isn't wrong about some of the chances we were giving up, on the powerplay too, but it is just funny how candid he was out of no where, we have one of the best in the league, and he wants better. I am loving this. Can't wait for game 3.

Yeah, Cuthbert is great. One of the best in the game. Ferraro is good also. They called it like they saw it, no salivating over the Blues. Ferraro was giving major props to Doughty tonight.

Hitchcock said no Halak for the balance of the series.

If he doesn't want to get beat he should not have gotten anywhere near you.

We want our team to win the cup? The Kings have some big players and they need to be bigger. Even Anze was being big and tough.

It is what the NHL playoffs look like.
My wife (a long time Kings fan herself) was really uncomfortable with the way the game was going and I told her pretty much exactly what you posted...good post.

It's been so long since we've all been even this far...it's like we've forgotten what it's like. It's only gonna get worse, and I for one am looking forward to it with GREAT anticipation.

GO KINGS!!!

I believe that sutter keeps them on thier toes. I was skeptical when they hired him, but I can happily say I was very wrong.

Pretty much a great overall game.

Voynov seems a tad timid and a little weak in his stick this series, but other than that.... Everyone did their job.

Can someone confirm Halak would be able to play if Pieterangelo was playing?

This is a perfect comment, and the reason I was very pleased when it went down even though someone else here was disagreeing with me. This is exactly the message you need to send to a team that is down in the game trying to stir some things up. Make them pay for everything they do so if even for a split second they are reconsidering it for next time.

Richards wanted Oshie well before this happened. He wanted Oshie the period before but Oshie pussed out.

Oshie is built like a truck. He lays some huge hits. Not a guy you want to catch you with your head down.

I have an anxiety disorder so I get stressed when things get crazy too. Maybe you can tell your wife what I finally realized. The Kings and Blues players get paid a lot of money to play a game I pay to play.

As long as they don't get crippled or whatever, they are doing what they love.

It was a sweet hit and it was legal and Penner was not hurt. Oshie did what he needed and the Kings responded perfectly.

This. Like i said earlier, I really really want him back. I don't care if he scores 5 in the regular season again, guy has been a beast in the playoffs.

You know it's going good when all the whipping boys are playing out of their head hockey, in essence making themselves non-whipping boys. Which then leaves nobody to complain about.
