Kings look ready to play in June

Solid read from LeBrun:

"ST. LOUIS -- Question: Did the Los Angeles Kings drop to eighth in the West on the final weekend of the regular season in order to guarantee road-ice advantage?

We jest, of course, but make it a perfect 5-0 away from Staples Center for the Kings this spring, a record run up against the top two seeds in the Western Conference, no less.

Just call them Road Warriors."

If they're the Road Warriors, they must come out to this track from here on out:

They are all bandwagonning now but nobody was picking the Kings to win more than 2 games in the whole postseason. The same is happening with other pessimistic Kings fans and the armchair experts "We told you that Brown and Kopitar needed to play better," when in fact they were advocating getting rid of them, because they would never show anything, especially in playoffs.

It's just the way things run.

LeBrun's no bandwagoner. Pretty sure he picked us over Vancouver, and has been at our hip since February.

Another poster who is far too superstitious.

This playoff success really highlights just how weird the protracted Terry Murray thing was.

It sure was curious, and I love dinosaurs as much as anyone, but WTF??!!

LeBrun picked Vancouver but that not withstanding he is a cool dude. Not arrogant or territorial, very efficient doing his job and very connected with sources.

Well, maybe LeBrun is not the best example, but we will see much better examples very soon. You know, those that were competing with each other who would be the loudest to claim that Kings have no chance against Vancouver.
