Beating detroit has been nice, but if we don't make it to at least the WCF, I am going to view this as a failure. This team is too talented to not make it that far.

There have been success off the ice as attendance and stability financially have been "humongous big" for us and the "go for gold" mentality is certainly a nice change. Still, losing in the 2nd round shouldn't be what we shoot for.

I am washing the loss stink off of my jersey and trimming the playoff beard. The jager shall flow tomorrow. My liver and I will certainly do our parts to keep this series from getting out of reach.

Was mid to high 90s today. I'll be wearing my Predators jersey with pride and yet sweating my ass off on Thursday morning (time difference remember?) while I watch the game in class.

I agree and disagree. We have had a successful year so far. Better than last regular season. knocked off big brother. However, knowing on paper we are better up and down the lineup than Phoenix, and the possible spector of Home Ice in the WCF, makes not getting out of this round a huge disappointment, and do to circumstances with certain teams dying in the first round, a failure.

Still mad about the first 2 games...and really, really surprised at the total lack of focus we saw in Game 2...but I'm ready for Game 3. We can still turn this around, but we HAVE to get back to our game...the guys better come out hard tomorrow.

Maybe it's time to not only change up the lines, but roll all 4 of them. I get the point of playing your first and second lines more often...but that doesn't really work if those lines aren't doing anything. We have too many ineffective players eating up lots of quality minutes right now. Why not roll 4 lines and see if the bottom 6 can contribute some more?

I'm all for not only rolling 4 lines but changing things up.

According to twitter, AK46 and Rads will not play in game 3 for violating team rules.

Somebody here has to know the details, spill those beans!

Don't really care about the reasons, but my hat's off to whoever made the call, Trotz or Poile. It may cost us the series but you can't have players think they're above the rules. Good for them.

Agreed.

Hope it also acts as a wake up call.

how must McGratton feel? They have to skate with him in practice as punishment.

Ohhhh snap. They were probably late for a practice or missed a meeting or something like that. I agree, good for whoever made the call, the rules apply to everyone!

Welcome to the Colin Wilson/Craig Smith show, everyone...put one of them on the top 2 lines and let them run with it!

...also will be interesting to see how they react, especially Rads. Will he get mad and turn that anger into determination and productivity in future games, or will he get mad and stomp his feet like a petulant child? Time will tell...

If it's true that he was partying and out past curfew the night before game two, let his punk ass go back to Russia.

If we win Game 3, it's no big deal. This might work in our favor as the shake-up the team needed after a pitiful Game 2 in Phoenix.

Agreed. Neither a playoff game or even a Stanley Cup is worth your organization's integrity. It makes me VERY happy the Preds took this action.

so now we are back to our very good team we had back in Jan and Feb, plus Gill and Gaustad. I don't want to downplay they effect on our guys, but this may actually make us better vs Phoenix.

Increases the likelihood that Rads goes back to Russia and AK46 won't sign here in the offseason. Both moves are fine with me as long as Poile signs a proven 20-30 goal scorer.

So now will the Yotes sweep the Preds? With the scratches playing (Willy, Smith, Hali, Tootoo), you won't see any lollygagging or floating. If we lose, it won't be from lack of effort.

A few days ago, (all) the predators were heros, now they are the losers

It's unbelievable what's going on on this boards

When they have beaten the Red-Wings everyone talked about the Cup.

Hellllllo, wake-up, there are other very very good teams in the run for the SC

And yes, its time to hit the panic button - but not for the NP
Thanks for posting the link. That was an awesome breakdown. I've never played, so havent seen plays broken down that detailed frame by frame. Caroline rules. Also, the site is terrible caroline. Please move your great work elsewhere. Many thanks

I think rads responds like a child as mentioned and andrei respects us like the father he never had and signs a 3 year deal. -I don't actually know anything about his family situation, but I'm guessing he'll understand the lord loveth those he chasteneth
