This game could be a lot more important than people think it is. Part of that great vibe from last round stemmed from starting out on the road. The whole come-back, come-from-behind theme that got them so pumped. I'm a little worried they come out flat again and maybe this time it bites them in the ass, then swings the momentum.
I think the Flyers will dominate today.
I anticipate a 3 or 4-0 game.
Giroux will be hungry, JvR will be hungrier and Bryz won't have much work which is the best case scenario. I'd like to see some big things from Simmonds/Schenn/Read as well as our secondary scoring at some point will be required.
And I believe the team just can't help but troll us for the first period. It's become ingrained that they can sleepwalk through the first 20 minutes, and roar back for the win. Furthermore, they have talked about fixing the poor starts for most of the season, and can't kick the habit. Expect more of the same, except that Bryzgalov will come up big. You read it here first!
I recall from an earlier game this season Jim Jackson was saying how Larsson was so calm and poised with the puck of course he promptly coughed it up and the Flyers scored. As great as everybody thinks this kid is or will be- his coach thinks Peter Harrold is better. One mistake by Larsson could be all it takes.
Bryz will be very solid tonight. That is my only prediction.
