Fisher was at very least being physical out there throwing his weight around and taking a beating. You're right though, both of their effort level needs to come up about 99% for us to even have a chance to get out of this series alive. Embarrassing.

Fisher hasn't been great in the offensive zone. His shot is just off.

However, he was good in the faceoff dot tonight (15 of 23 - 65%) and like you said...at least he is physical.

I don't think the -2 really goes against his play that much. He was on ice for the first and last goal. You can fault him for losing the faceoff on the last one, but that's about it. Suter's man (Doan) got the tip. On the first goal, I'm pretty sure Vermette wasn't his man. He was also on ice for our first PPG and had an assist.

I'm not as worried about Fish. Him and Erat still seem to be busting their ***** out there, but almost look like they're on an island out there offensively, at times (I'm looking at SK AND the d-men here). The Legwand line looks flat. What worked for them in the Detroit series in terms of cycling and getting pucks to the net just hasn't materialized against the Yotes. Still like what I'm seeing from Bourque though.

And oh ya, somebody needs to teach Radulov how to play defense. I don't think he realizes what a backcheck is.

Phoenix left him wide open on the PP, daring him to shoot.

He did, and nothing went in.

Great coaching job by Phoenix.

I don't think he has a whole lot of confidence in his shot. But that doesn't mean he needs to quit. I would rather see him take the Hornqvist approach though and try to jam one in from in front of the net...or provide at least screen the goalie. As I said earlier in this thread...replace him with Wilson on the PP. Wilson does seem to have a knack for PP goals.

When I watched other playoff games in Round 1 and even now in round 2, I see an effort level from these other teams that I have just never seen from the Predators in 6/7 games. Only in game 5 vs Detroit did we have the effort and hard work that will win games in the playoffs.

This team sucks the effort is invisible. Ken Holland must be licking his chops and calling Suter every hour.

That would be awesome, considering it would get the Wings in trouble.

OK, let me just say, there is a reason this team has seemed a bit off since Deadline and Rad's return, and really off this series. They have not been playing the system completely. They shifted from Predator hockey to trying to play a higher skill game and outscore their opponent.

Every guy who pulls on the sweater has to be 100% all in with playing the system. No shifts off, no floating, no more margin for error with the occasional brain fart. The momentum of the series can still turn. A team down 0-3 has almost zero chance to do it. But it can still happen. Who knows, maybe having last change will make a huge difference. Maybe unfavorable matchups are the margin-- we will get an idea Wed. night.

I am tired of worrying myself sick over this series. I need to take a deep breath.
But if it ends in this round, I see huge turnover for this roster. Seems like the current system and roster will have reached its potential. And we all know how unlikely a coaching change is. With management trusting Poile, things will have to get a lot worse for that kind of change. OK, rant mode off.

Losing a couple of draft picks is no big deal and acquiring Suter would off set that. Any way I feel we have seen the last of Suter in a Pred's Uni. He just waiting to clean out is locker for good come Friday.

He seems to be playing like he wants to go beyond Friday.

But I'm sure you don't see it that way. Suter's the debil now.

I'm waiting to see next year's NHL 24/7 with the Wings and the narrator says "....and newcomer Ryan Suter...."

Wow ... This team is going to look really different next season, how the **** are we going to be able to make even the cap floor with all the players we're possibly going to lose ? (Suter, Kostitsyn (s?), Weber & Radulov & who knows who else?) ... disgusting

ak, radulov probably gone. should be. suter definitely gone.

weber and sk will be back.

but yeah we will be sniffing the cap floor without any free agent signings.

At this point, I don't see any reason for SK and AK to stay-- they obvious are not key pieces to a contending team. Trade SK while he at least has some value. AK-- bye.

We need to keep Radulov in NA. If he's not the right fit for us, trade him and get a good return. His actions & our suspension could affect his trade value though.

While I think there's a decent chance Suter is gone, I don't think it's a guarantee.

If Suter is on his way out, trade his rights to Philly or Pittsburgh. I think they'd get in a bidding war over him and we could get something decent out of it. Plus if he signs, it keeps him in the Eastern Conference.

Have lived in Taiwan almost 6 years now. Haven't had any allergy problems, until now. Not sure what, why or how but thankfully it's not as bad as my hay-fever was back in Idaho but still, not fun.

Agreed, SK is obviously not a post season gamebreaker and I don't even want AK or Rads after this fiasco.

I was dreading an overhaul a few weeks ago, I'm warming to the idea quickly.
