That's fine, it wouldn't be any fun if everyone agreed on here

My bad, back on topic Marlies just had a pretty solid PP, they are looking pretty dangerous actually. Kadri not having a great game. 4:20 left

Hmmm, it seems that Abbotsford is extremely physical and are strong on the walls. Marlies looking a lot like the Leafs with their weakness on the walls.

Kadri takes a stupid tight angle shot and misses then the puck goes all the way around and Abts scores with the empty netter

lol @ kadri

what an idiot. Who takes a tight angle shot while the nets empty. Seems like hes a turnover machine even in the ahl. Cant ever see him becoming a 2nd/1st line nhl player

It's decision making like that, that prevents him from holding down an NHL spot

Wake up call for the Marlies, a much better opponent this rd. Effort in the 3rd but abbotsford a tough team to play against.

The week off seemed to have put a nice coat of rust on them, And it showed during the 1st, And that's all the heat needed really.

Played really well in the 3rd though. Game #2 is a must.

The guy has played a lot of games. I'm guessing he's still at that wall he hit about 50 games in with the Leafs. Gardiner is used to a college season of some odd 40 games.

Kadri is smarter than that. I didn't see it, but i've seen the same thing a thousand times from the bench and the couch, alike.

He was trying to do too much himself. He's done it before, and it results in turnovers. He's been much better lately, but he was doing exactly what quarterbacks do under pressure, and trying to force a play that wasn't there.

You can bet Eakins will have a go at him for it. As he should. Trying for the big play often prevents you from making the smart play.

He'll get it. We have a very capable staff working with him.

Never knew we'd have trolls for AHL games.

The Heat got away with A LOT of goalie contact early in the game. First goal was goalie interference. I was about 15 feet away from the goal and the Heat player shoving Scrivens aside.

Pretty bad fan support, I expect more from us. It's disappointing, because the Marlies deserve the fan support, and the Leafs don't, even though they get so much of it.

I was dissapointed I couldn't get a stream.

I'm not too surprised with the loss. It felt like an eternally long lay off for the Marlies.

I'm hoping for a stream and rust free Marlies next game.

Marlies looked better in the third

they looked like a team that had been off for a week - a bit sluggish and I'm sure in game 2 will be much better

I was at the game. The whole team was asleep until the third, it seemed.

The only player who was consistently good throughout the game was Holzer in my opinion. This game he convinced me that he will be a solid NHLer for years to come.

Funny how they made an article over my criticism of Kadri's goal celebration.

I don't mind a player getting excited, but I thought he was classless for doing that in a 3-0 drubbing of the Americans. He's learning and he'll learn to not embarrass players.

Man who the hell cares, he scored a goal that put the game from reach after fans were ragging on him in the penalty box to shut them up. Part of his game is to be pest and he's doing that.
