Wow, awesome infographic!

I think he can win it. He was more valuable to the Lightning than Malkin was to the Penguins. It might be harder to make a case that any forward is more valuable to their team than a Vezina finalist goalie though.

It wont matter anyways though, the Hart is selected as if it was for the best player in the league (which is what the Ted Lindsay is for).

The main board discussion is a whole new level of stupid.

People are confused how Stamkos even got nominated let alone became a finalist.

Apparently because our goalies crapped the bed early in the season Stamkos does not deserve to even be in the conversation. This idea of "you have to be on a team that made the playoffs to be the best player in the league" is just stupid.

I have a feeling Maklin won and probably by quite a bit and well deserved. But I am pretty sure Stamkos was #2 also by quite a bit over Lundqvist, Quick and Giroux

While I would love for Stammer to win, I think because of the playoff factor, I think Lundqvist could take it. I think Stammer may have been more valuable to us this season than Malkin was to the Pens, but if it comes down to getting to the playoffs or not, then probably Lundqvist wins

The real story with these nominations is the East Coast bias. Seriously, Quick and Smith are THE single reasons their respective teams are in the playoffs. Both of them are more important to their teams than Lundqvist or Malkin or Stamkos imo.

Malkin being healthy decreased their total games played over last year by 1...lulz. (yeah yeah, Flyers and Marc-Andre Fivehole had something to do with it too).

Stam who? Never heard of him. He must be some overrated bum. How come no Canucks were nominated? Schneider, Lou, the twins, Kesler, Raymond and Ballard I guarentee are better than some guy I have never heard of.

Malkin got nominated? What about Crosby? He's the star on that team.

Stammer will lose the Hart for the same reason Marty lost it last year. They're stealing each others votes.

I don't have Smith in the same league as Quick or Lundqvist and between those it's close, yeah sure LA would not been a playoff team without Quick but what about Rangers, no chance in hell they would have won their conference without Lundqvist. Also Rangers are playing the toughest division in the NHL.

Yeah stammer will probably lose that, but I will call shennaningans if he loses the Maurice Richard . Imagine that they announce that its Malkin at the award ceremony. Lundqvist better win hart though.

Smith would get my vote. He and Giroux are just as deserving as the three nominees in my opinion.

In the 1st round, Pens/Flyers, both broadcasts, NBC/TSN had the distinction of announcing 'Malkin, the NHL's regular season leading goal scorer with 50' on at least 4 occasions.

I guess 50 is the new 60...

Just as for the Hart Trophy Stamkos, Malkin and Lundqvist were nominated as this year's finalists for the Ted Lindsay Award - the NHLPA's award to the NHL's most outstanding player (formerly known as Lester B. Person Award): http://lightning.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=630433

Stammer should be a shoe in for the Ted Lindsay. My money is still on Crosby

How epic would it be if Lundqvist doesn't win the Vezina?

The trade boards told me it belongs to Luongo.

Didn't want to make a new thread for this.

The Lightning has a little roundtable series about Stamkos season with Chief, Dinger and Espo. Kinda neat.
