What is the most the Flyers could get for him from a team who is desperate for goaltending?

I think he would be a last resort deal.. if they couldn't get any of the other available goalies they would come back to Bob.

I wonder if there are fewer teams desperate for goaltending than teams desperate to get rid of their goalie

Or UFA goalie desperate to find a taker.

Desperate is a strong word, but at least the number of proposal from fans offering their goalie point to it

I agree, but for me it's because of the small sample size. He may be very good, but he may be another Reimer (whom we also really don't know about yet).

Pens could use a good back up goalie. Also flyers fans I'm here to be civil so please act like it.

I don't see how Bob's value is massively different from Ben Bishop--he's proven more, and he's two years younger.

(But the Sens were in a bit of a pinch, so I don't know).

Unless the Flyers believe Hovinen is ready to come and be an NHL backup, it seems counterproductive to move Bob. At worst, he's a talented but inconsistent backup, but a functional stand-in should Bryz get hurt. Even if a team offers a 2nd, it isn't a player who will help the club for 3+ years.
