Rangers come out and bring it to the Caps in the 1st. 2-0 after 1 Rangers. Rangers win the game 4-1 with a EN goal. Gaborik with a goal and an assist.

What, no pube bet?

I feel good about this one. Gabs lights up and we get an important win.

I picked NYR in 7 vs Sens, something about that matchup scared me. Had a much better feeling with this matchup with Caps, as I picked us in 5. We gave away game 2 with dumb plays by Bickel and Hank...

But I have a great feeling tonight. Like the Sens series, we will put together a solid defensive game, and God will go back to playing like Hank again...As long as he stays in his crease.

2-0 win
Feds
Callahan

Rangers win this one 3-0; and yes, Gaborik does score.

If everybody takes the body on the Cap defensemen like we did in the last game we will get some loose pucks and hopefully some shots at the goal...eventually they will get in the net and not find the posts ...just have to keep working and we really need to have everybody into it early which means a Rupp scrap or Bickel to start this game off !!! I think an early scrap would fire us up and would be in our favor .

Unlike the Sens, the Caps are a team significantly better at home than away. We need to take at least 1 of these two games, obviously but that might be harder than it sounds.

Before tonight's game, if I could take a 2-2 series right now, I would.

Hank and the D need to be near perfect so when the pop gun offense produces their in game allowance of 2 to 3 goals it's enough for a win.

Gotta somehow find a way here. Gaborik needs to get it together and show he has life.

What worries me is how hard the Rangers are going to be jobbed by the referees in Washington if they got it that bad in Game 2 on friggin' home ice. Either way, as long as the team plays like they did in Game 2 with Hank staying in his crease, this is a win. Please stay out of the box as much as possible, no matter how bad the refs are.

yeah....but without those 2 mistakes by bickel and henk....rangers win game 2...but to battle all the way back tie it and have the refs make some crappy calls is frustrating...but lets put it behind us and concentrate on tonight
