I know people get on Doughty because he doesn't put up as much on the offensive #'s side as people want, but it's not surprising when you see this stat. He's busy doing all the heavy-lifting on D so Voynov and Martinez don't have to.
Becoming better defensively has been the downfall of his reputation

I don't see many people getting on Doughty for his 5-on-5 play. It's on the PP that he has taken a major step back from his Norris season. Remember the playoffs against Vancouver? Doughty was a beast on the PP.

Doughty had 9 PP(+2 in playoffs) goals in 2010, 5 (+1) in 2011 and 3(+0) in 2012.

Doughty's non-pp goals were 7 in 2010, 6 in 2011 and 7 in 2012.

I assume that means Arnott is out for Game 3, Pietrangelo is in.

Really don't care, I think it's better the Kings beat the Blues with Alex.

Great interview with Penner:

Talks about having personal issues. Penner seems like a great guy.

You are not faster than the speed of Shellz

I like this move. It's like they are still on the road. Veteran savvy from Sutter.

Yeah, he was saying he was 90% on that write up on his website a week ago, so you never know.

The list shows how much skating talent they are putting out there on the D end. No need for giant hitters when you can all skate. Hopefully Voynov will settle down next season and become steadier.

It's like European soccer coaches having players secluded before important games. Sex is bad for male athletes, that is why Kings are such good "road warriors"

I guess that's why Wilt Chamberlain sucked.

Yeah, or Muhammad Ali who wouldn't have sex for weeks prior to the fight. I'm a strong believer that at least 24 hours prior to the sport event, there shouldn't be any such activity. It's opposite for ladies, though.
