I wonder if he was confused by the logos on the wall?
I will say this though. Even though he asks some silly ones, as a whole Hill asks better, thought-out questions than the generic ones we see from much of the hockey media.
The media scrums are actual scrums for a change. Some new mic flags.
Some of these questions though... geez. Especially Quick's set. They should just make him unavailable to the media. Let him stay focused on stopping pucks.
Penner's going to need some beard maintenance soon. He's looking like Sasquatch already.

LoL @ the whole interview being Patrick trying to get Quick to pound his chest, and Quick just fending him off and trying to keep humble and PR friendly

Yeah that was terrible, I usually like Dan Patrick but he acted like a ****** and obviously isn't familiar with Quick's personality given the kinds of questions he threw at him.
I disagree. Patrick does it on purpose, he likes to ask the questions that he knows the player cannot answer directly, puts them on edge.
Whether you agree with his schtick or not, you have to admit its different than the usual pap we get from the well-trained NHL players. He actually got Quick to laugh out loud on the crew taking penalty shots on him...and I have never heard or seen Quick laugh.
The problem with Rome is that he talks behind people's back. One day, he bashes someone and then the next day when he interviews them, it's a kissing ass parade.
Reporter: You have 4 points in 7 games…
Penner: What’s that number?
Reporter: You have 4 points in 7 games I think.
Penner: That’s close. You’ll get there."
Patrick came off like a dick in that. He complained about a free jersey not being good enough and asked a bunch of boring questions and tried to get Quick to say something that would make the rest of the media eat him alive. Just imagine if Quick said he was better than Hank and the LA market is trash. Even if it's true, you don't say that stuff in public. Best of all, Patrick acts like Quick owes him for being on the bandwagon. What a Dbag.

I stopped listening to Rome years ago when I realized he repeats every ****ing sentence and thought about fourteen times.
Then it hit me: the guy has nothing to talk about for 4 hours, so if he repeats things enough, he can fill his time more easily.

That's kind of his schtick though, if you do/say something stupid he isn't afraid to just bury them whether they've been a guest or not. I always thought he asks some pretty great questions with some of his guests though too, so it's not just the typical ass kissing all the time.
